Yes, it's that one!
I'm gonna ask a question, not quite a hint, but is it somewhere I could find it simply by looking really hard, or are there other requirements, as I kind of suspect there are? And also, does it have anything to do with the untranslated QR code on the pedestal?

Oddly enough I am beginning to feel the same way about going back to 4 Ultimate. 4 Ultimate just felt much more fun to play, even through High Rank. I really want to go back and take on G rank again. Though I am only just starting to do High Rank quests, so I may be speaking too soon.
Also, how difficult is making the

Thanks to GOG's "Back to School Sale" (not sure how school and games fit together but any excuse for a sale, right?) my gaming week is perhaps better defined by what I bought than what I played. My Monster Hunter buddy's been busy, so I've been poking at some of the gathering quests. Did some searching for stars in The

"Relationship Ennui" films/books/whatever are probably the "genre" I consider most boring. Oh no, that couple is drifting apart, exactly like all the other couples whose relationship is becoming frosty. Maybe I would have to experience it to care about it.
Most unexpectedly unpleasant? Movies with "high school

So your husband's name is Osiris Dionysus, then?

Looks like what happens if Super Meat Boy goes mouldy.

Wheras people doing "British" tend to go for either Cockney, posh, or some odd hybrid of the two. Although Brits doing other British accents for anything longer than a sentence or two also tend to struggle as well.

Just like American actors doing "English/British" accents often end up in a weird mush which can't be located as a real accent, I'd guess us Brits do the same thing when trying to do an American accent.

Good shout bringing up Proteus, though I am not sure the No Man's Sky comparisons really fit - I suppose there are parallels. I would describe No Man's Sky as a game where you are always moving forward to the next area rather than dawdling, even if your continued exploration lacks purpose a bit. In contrast, Proteus

I guess that's partly what I'm getting at with the "language" of games part - by moving away from "cinematic" conventions and using its own techniques like the repeating scenarios, the time limit, etc, Majora's Mask is more clearly able to explore its themes. Linking "personal" stories to realism was not quite the

Pretty sure I found an actual physical copy of one of these "copypasted from Wikipedia" books in my University library one time. I guess some sneaky student could maybe use it as a reference and pretend they didn't do all their research on Wikipedia?

Yeah, I don't think they sell the soundtracks to obscure NES games on iTunes, so I've used this as well.

I'm just gonna link some cool Cing-related stuff here actually.

While I agree that other media often tend towards needing things to "matter", I definitely feel like games struggle harder to get away from it. You're not watching a cool person do cool and important things, you are a cool person doing cool and important things. Also, since your world is essentially constructed from

That is a pretty great comic. Last panel made me feel all fuzzy :)

As I said below, I never got to play the games, but even watching a plathrough where I know the game will be completed, there was always a sense of tension when Kyle would go snooping around where he shouldn't (so all the time). Possibly it's related to the ease with which you can "game over" and get kicked out of the

I think for the 2DS, you have to press the "sleep" button. And for WiiU, apparently you press the Home button. Except, it only "works" when you know the original solution to the puzzle, since the actual closing action is gone. Any newcomer would be even more perplexed, since it's no longer even an "outside the box"

Damn, good point! I'm not familiar with DS games on VC actually, but I can see it working with some tweaks. Rather than straight emulation, though, that would probably require a full re-release, like an HD version.

They really should re-release these on VC or something. At the time I didn't really have the money to get every game I wanted (I got Phoenix Wright instead), so I watched them on YouTube unfortunately. I think the ending of Another Code R is probably one of the strongest emotional reactions I've had to a game. When
