I was gonna say Moga Village dammit!
What a wonderful relaxing theme it is. It feels much more like home than anywhere in the globe-trotting 4. It's nice to know that after a long session of beating up/being beaten up by monsters, you will always have your lovely home village to chill out in.

I think about a week ago I said I was going to read Don Quixote due to Cervantes' birthday being about this time.
Well, the other day I saw Understanding Comics in the bookshop, so I have completely failed to read Don Quixote.
However, I have finished Understanding Comics already!
What an excellent book (I suppose I

Not quite!
SPOILERS for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate…

I think this is possibly why procedural generation is something I'm quite excited about right now. Whenever I play games I want to see every part of the game, to the point that I will look at walkthroughs and spoil things even when what I'm missing is just a minor sidequest. I've tried to play through games without

The Eyetoy obvs

Okami for WiiU!
Though I guess it's a bit late for that now…

What will I be playing this weekend? Who knows!
What will I be playing this summer?
Monster Hunter Generations, which just announced…

Okami themed cat outfit!!!!!
My two favourite Capcoms, together at last!
And of course, you can play as the cat in this game, so I can actually play as Okami Cat!!

Don't forget the one entry that was for the DS! With music by David Wise, even! (It's not his best work admittedly)

Decided to look at a "walkthrough" type thing for Hexcells Infinite, but not in a step by step way. Basically, looking for a hint if I reach a point in the level where I feel I have to guess. The first thing I looked up mentioned the "tiles remaining" counter and completely blew my mind, since I hadn't even noticed

Well, I just found out that it's Miguel de Cervantes' birthday soon, and I have a copy of Don Quixote (Edith Grossman translation) which I've yet to start. So I guess I will start reading.
Since I'm a fast reader, I usually finish everything in one or two days, but I can see from the book's heft that that will not be

I quite like ones where the monsters are just always there, and everyone knows how to deal with them. I might just be thinking of Monster Hunter again though.

Okami, of course! All those cherry blossoms!

Anyone here from the North of England (or further afield if you're willing to travel)?
This is a games/interactive stuff event in Yorkshire and it seems cool:

I'll be going. Lovely surroundings, and though there's not a schedule yet, last year's events looked really interesting.

As I mentioned on Wednesday, I'm almost finished with Endless Ocean 2. I only have two things left before I'll have completed everything as far as I want it: 1 random treasure, and 1 million visitors to the aquarium. Actually, just thinking about it is annoying me, so maybe I won't.

Wow everyone's leaving, huh?
Anyway, the best thing to come out of it for me was Oancitizen using clips from Slings and Arrows in a video, which introduced me to that fantastic show. Also, I think the video was in iambic pentameter or something, which was pretty cool.

Here's a good let's play of the game:

I know Channel Awesome is not the greatest, but I used to watch it a lot, so the Nostalgia Chick's big list of the historical inaccuracies of Pocahontas, followed by
"Also, Pocahontas was twelve."
is something I remember quite well.
Hard to believe Disney thought Pocahontas was gonna be a winner over The Lion King.

I have an admission to make: I prefer watching most RPGs to playing them. Unless they are super simple, I get overwhelmed by all the complexity, and I would prefer to put the dozens of hours required into something I actually find fun.
but a good screenshot LP, on the other hand, I can get through in a fraction of the

Handily enough, there is a really good Let's Play of that which I can't link to because I'm on my phone (I'll grab the link for you later). The commentator doesn't talk over cutscenes and is generally pretty quiet, but they are also very thorough, and show the good and bad resolutions to things, the random silly
