Endless Ocean 2 is slightly less endless now! Re-opened Cavern of the Gods, took all the photos, got all the dolphins, got all the coins, and caught 'em all (that is to say, I clicked on all the fish)! Still got to get all the salvage items (I only need 1 more, so why not?) and get 1 million visitors (ugh). I am at

Finally got to have the Christmas meetup with extended family after it being delayed twice by car breakdowns. Christmas in April isn't so bad. And it's very relieving that the journey went well - normally it wouldn't be a worry, but after failing twice it's impossible not to think of all the things that could go wrong.

While we're at it, shouldn't it be "affecting" rather than "effecting" at the very start of the article? Or am I wrong myself?

Doesn't seem to be. I really hope it comes out eventually! It has been in development for so long!
There was a new video about a month ago, so I guess it's definitely still being worked on. But there's also no release date.

If you're going for Fez, I'll choose the as-yet-unreleased Miegakure, which is supposed to be 4D puzzles in a 3D world - like Fez, except that we can't actually see in 4D. Here is the creator explaining it:

I get it, but I don't get it. Anyway, imagine if that was in first person in VR, that

I was a bit surprised, I would have thought people would be interested in an Oculus game set in space.

Which was that? Adr[one]ft?

I know nothing at all about building PCs, so… what are the things to watch out for? I had not paid any attention at all to the power supply when I was looking round a bit. What can they be incompatible with?

Thanks!

Do you have those listed anywhere?

Anyone here know much about PCs etc? I'm planning to build one, but can't decide how "budget" I want to be or not.
I'm using the PC described here:

as a starting point, but I was looking having a few of those components be a bit different, for example, a slightly better CPU, or maybe a

Not so much this week… mostly Endless Ocean 2, which I am determined to finish all quests in. I'm nearly done with the dolphin quests - I can go out and actually get them now instead of doing boring dolphin shows. Nearly finished with photographs, except photographs are terrible and I have to wait for either really

White 2 is good though! You should play it all the way through. :p

Congrats on beating Twilight Princess! I'm currently stalled at the start of Arbiter's Grounds, though that's my inability to focus rather than anything the game did. I hope you enjoy playing Wind Waker! HD version or the original?

Yeah, for all that the game is very pretty sometimes, those textures are pretty awful, and a lot of the environments look barren and repetitive. I think the fact that everything is underwater saves it from looking really terrible a lot of the time.
An HD version would be stunning.
I guess VR might also be pretty good

More Floating Point! So much fun swinging round everything.
I also played Endless Ocean 2 again for the first time in a while. The post-ending stuff is turning into a bit of a grind, which sounds an odd thing to say about a relaxing ocean-diving game. But the main goal is to re-open the Cavern of the Gods, which costs

Ahh I am so excited to play with the styles! The one I really want to mess around with is Bushido Style, that will just continue the satisfying game mechanics by making me feel like some kind of dodging god.
Oh I also forgot to mention that I am super jealous of you for having 3 people you can play with IRL. I know

I won't be playing anything over the weekend since I (hopefully) have a family visit. As for what I've been playing the past week… well, I've been a bad gamer and totally not played any of the games I was playing the previous week. I played both Twilight Princess HD and a tiny bit of The Talos Principle last weekend,

I'm guessing that means Samorost 3 is really good then? I'm looking forward to playing it when I've played 2.

Yep, that really is part of what is so great about MH. Not afraid to be frustrating, since when you eventually get through it feels all the more satisfying. And all the weapons provide great satisfaction when you use them right. Monster Hunter really has its hit effects and attack animations/sounds down to a fine art.
