Huge squeezy internet hugs to you. I have a hugely beloved 11 year old dog and even the thought of losing her closes my throat and dampens my eyes. Just love her hard for the time you have left xxx

Or sports! My husband paid almost $300 Australian to see a game of Rugby League a few weeks ago...
My mum too. She had hellishly heavy periods for years and had the hysterectomy and has been great since.
30s are the best! You know who you are, you give far fewer fucks about pleasing people, I also felt more attractive in my 30s - I knew what suited me and what didn’t. I’m 48 now and I have thoroughly enjoyed my 40s too, but my 30s’s were fabulous!
Definite yea here! I live in Queensland, Australia, and in summer your wine goes warm and icky about 2 sips in.
Ooh! I just finished listening to the My Favourite Murder podcast about this case! Definitely worth a listen if you’re intrigued....
Oh that’s tough stuff. Good for you for finding the strength to cut him off and I hope you’ve had other great people in your life.
Off topic, but I’d love to serve on a jury, but I know they’ll dismiss me immediately because I’m married to a cop. I’d be fascinated to know all the background stuff!
Thanks! It is such a great gift to have and it’s the first time she’s shown any signs of being able to do this.
This is absolutely gorgeous - I would love to hear more about your grandfather and his life. My grandfather was a blue eyed twinkly man of Scottish origin. My favourite story about him was that when my mother, aged 20, in the late 60s, came home and told her parents she was pregnant and was marrying my mum, he told…
My 8 year old daughter has sensory processing and attention difficulties as a result of a birth related brain injury. We’ve been doing some work on helping her regulate her emotions a bit better as she is prone to quite devastating melt-downs when the world comes at her a bit too hard and fast. Yesterday she became…
Yay for you! That’s awesome!
Doggos are the best personal trainers!
My stepson had his tonsils and adenoids out when he was 8 and it made an amazing difference - he had been sick pretty much constantly, and was sleeping very poorly. Once he recovered from the surgery he as way healthier and barely gets a sniffle now. Totally worth it.
Nope!! I also had a somewhat unwieldy surname , not heinous, but annoying - always had to explain how to say it/ spell it. Husband’s name is super simple and I jumped on it with glee.
Thanks for keeping us up to date. So glad she’s still here and still fighting. Take care of yourself - sending a big squeezy hug from Australia. We only had 2 weeks in intensive care with my daughter but it’s such an intense time. She’s a boisterous 8 year old now. xxx
There’s been a massive shift against smoking hasn’t there? I smoked on and off for about 20 years with my last relapse about 6 years ago. In that last little period of smoking, I felt really embarrassed about it - if I was smoking outside work I would hide if I saw anyone I knew. If I was walking down the street…
Are you Australian too?
Fight like a girl, by Clementine Ford. She’s an Australian feminist writer/ activist/ commentator and it’s an autobiographical call to arms. Funny and warm and galvanising. Fabulous.
Woohoo!!! Congrats to you and Mr Trollop!
