it wasnt 800. thats the price they were hoping to hit for production.  that was a prototype that was probably 10x as valuable. and it was made for the 3090ti which was provided and unused.

Yeah, I kinda EXPECT that ALL of them cut corners in production.  But the environment that Madison paints (and for the record, she isn't just now coming forward with this) is considerably more disturbing.

LTT literally tested a prototype in a way that went against the creator’s explicit instuctions on a wrong GPU (despite Billet Labs providing the GPU on which the cooling block prototype was meant to work - which, as it turns out, was also not sent back to BLL), decided not to correct that in any way, then sold (oh,

His initial response of “well ACTUALLY we didn’t sell it, we auctioned it” was so spectacularly stupid and ill-advised that it made me actually believe him that he’s doing too much work to actually function.

That’s what bugged me most. Linus’ response is easily the worst of everyone else. They all, for the most part, accepted the criticism and said they’d be better in the future. That’s fine, but most of Linus’ response was him whining about people calling him a thief.

Linus consistently painting himself as a victim in his responses is kind of tiring, too. He’s got that sad-faced woe-is-me schtick down cold.

They absolutely do. LMG is more than just LTT. They have a ton of channels at this point, and across them all (all done by the same staff), that is an accurate tally.

Across all of their channels, they total a weekly average of like 25 videos a week

The fact that the apology video was an EDITED video speaks volumes. Not only does Linus not understand GN’s criticisms (ethics/rushing inaccurate videos for a bottom line), but this mindset is shared by the writers, the editors, and the performers. Let’s be real, 100% this video was a performance. All this could have

The things reported by Gamers Nexus while serious seemed like mistakes, some bigger than others and definitely need correcting. But the whole situation with Maddison seems fucked up and if true would completely sour my perception of LMG as a company and Linus as a person.

Absolutely. If the internet taught me anything it's that banks HATE this one trick.

That "bank error in your favor" Monopoly card really gave people the wrong idea.

Those people who took the free money are in for a real surprise later

I think that if they don’t bring back the cast from the show and just make some new movies based on the source material, you’re going to piss off all of those people that came out to try to save the show.

For a brief moment a BOI ATM looked like a pot of gold, but in the end it was just fool’s gold and went back to being the usual bucket of shit.

It’s a single-player RPG with no DLC plans. Why would the player count matter six months after its release?

I 100% completed it in under a month and moved on. That’s all I ask of a single player experience. No one is playing God of War Ragnarök or Horizon Forbidden West either anymore.

and then the inevitable year in review where they dredge this all up again.

You got my click, but not my respect.  Shame that you’ve circled back to the corpse to try to get a few more heartbeats out of it.

I’m not a 100% completionist gamer. I beat the main campaign and a good portion of the sidequests. Played a little after to keep exploring but lost interest.
