press x to abandon the rebels to be ethnically cleansed

lol looks at game with overtly political themes and iconography and says “There’s nothing to see here.”

I’m somewhat sympathetic to the notion that not all games need to be given deep examination with a harsh, political lens. Like, if its Super Mario Bros, yeah, you might be going a bit too far by comparing it to class warfare or something.

It’s only a “shockingly bold move for that part of the world” if you don’t know anything about the gender-equal Kurds and their robust use of women fighters and women-led brigades. We have no idea whether she’s “quite an extraordinary woman” or if this is just a society like the real-world one they very obviously drew

I fully realized this was a Call of Duty game when, after the mentioned London shootout, one of the main characters looked directly into the camera and said “if only our hands weren’t tied by politics, laws, or rules and could deal with these threats the way they need.

When you make a game that is trying to make a statement by having a suicide bombing as your first sequence, you make your reviews into this.

If it’s aiming for the realism of war, the part where you abandon the rebels to be ethnically cleansed should be interesting.

I’m an enormous nerd but even I can’t process that much backstorybabble, let alone your average casual Hulu viewer.

You really have to wonder just how crappy that pilot was if ABC was fine picking up Inhumans but not it.

And I guess it’d be out fo the question to have Jon Bernthal come and play Cosmic Ghost Rider? For those who don’t know, he’s a two million year old Frank Castle who died, became a Ghost Rider, than became Galactus’ Herald and gained the ability to wield The Power Cosmic, became Thanos’ Herald for a couple centuries,

This seems like a good place to remind people that Cloak and Dagger is quite good. (Related: people say “shit” in the 8PM hour on FreeForm.)

It boggles my mind the process of people at Disney being big on a property yet not getting them picked up on Disney platforms. Like when the other AoS spin off with Mockingbird failed to get picked up by ABC.

This is a bummer. I really enjoyed Luna’s portrayal and was really happy to see a Latino hero taking the lead, especially with such a badass character. Hope it moves to another platform (Disney+?)

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month, Hollywood!

And that’s why the US is so far behind pretty much every other industrialized world. It’s population can’t be bothered an genuinely gets pissy if they have to think more than half a second. Unfortunately, if you’re doing it wrong, you’re not ‘participating’ anyway... you’re just screwing things up. Far better to get

I know Id rather pass through space and time talking to you, than 95% of the rest of the uninteresting ass hats i encounter at most parties.

At some point my caring about the environment takes a back seat to “if you’re going to give me a multiple choice test I may as well just throw it on the ground.”

For real. In the eighties, recycling meant driving to the recycling center with a car full of trash, and putting the paper in the paper pile and green, brown and clear glass in their own bins and only the recyclable plastic. Putting out my own recycling today, the bin was full of flies, which means some asshole in the

While some people are simply lazy/careless (and this won’t change), in my experience the system is fatally compromised by two chronic issues: (1) vague/incomplete signage and (2) differences among locally available recycling systems.

Just one quick look into the recycling bins in my apartment building justifies my theory that the human race only has about 20 years left, so bringing kids into this world of shit is a pointless exercise.
