Driving at those speeds on a public road is, to me, the same as firing a gun into a crowd of people.

Sadly, not even Czeching themselves prevented them from wrecking themselves.

The smallest bump is enough at that speed. The front lifts, you hit the side, and gone.

I thought this was Nathan Drake.

I think that they didn't just prove that 80% of Americans are scientifically illiterate; we sort of knew that already and Somin gives a competent defense of it. What they really proved is that it is easy to manipulate people who don't know jack about a topic to make them believe whatever the hell you want to believe

When one person simply states the 25th is Newton's birthday and there is crying and anger in response, who is the one building walls?

Did he say something to "make light of" Christianity in that tweet? Or are you just upset because he acknowledged a scientist on Christmas day? It seems like his point was, well, I don't believe in that, so I'll pay homage to someone that I know existed and whose work I can measure and quantify as being worthwhile.

The Wolfman of Wall Street?

When comparing Amazon's prices to Walmart's, also consider the extra cost that comes along with stepping foot into a Walmart: that terrible, terrible experience.

Here's how I quit being ticklish: I realized that the tickler will not tickle me if he or she can't get me to laugh. So all I have to do is keep a straight face until they give up. If you let anyone know your strategy, it won't work, but most people will give up after a couple of seconds. Therefore, you only have

I was blown away by the 48 FPS HFR 3D versions of The Hobbit movies. It made sweeping vistas look almost as if I was right there and I was truly impressed by the inclusive feeling during the battle scenes at that frame rate. It was initially different but my daughter and I got used to it immediately; we made a point
