If you look at the voting distribution, it’s the 50+ year old baby boomers giving Gen X and younger the middle finger yet again.

So not going there...
Jesus T**** F****** Christ, Luke, he does a Baywatch intro impersonation? Way to bury the lead there...
...and this needs more than just a few seconds. Like, a whole Witcher-themed Baywatch reconstruction, complete with dual-swords, live-saving flotation devices, Gwent during downtime, monsters, and Triss and Yen…
They’re a * LOT* better than the general lobby racing (read: unwashed rubbin’ masses) and while it happens on occasion (which I’m sure it will still happen in Gran Turismo), people generally aren’t meaning to do it on purpose.
Um...why can’t we just let both Rose and Ichiro have the title...the former being the MLB Hit King, and the latter being the Professional Interleague Hit King (or something to that effect)?
I mean, for fuck’s sake, we have enough conflict in the world. Can’t we just find a happy medium and move the fuck on? Or will we…
Console market =/= E3 Presentations. I’m not debating that Sony has ‘owned’ the console market. I’m stating that Microsoft had a decidedly better presentation at E3 last year because they showed games and content that were readily available within the coming year (mostly), not unlike what they did at this E3.
Hey, sorry I’m late. I saw this news and I’m not sure why I should be indignant about this, as I've been watching the Sony VR announcement. Can someone help catch me up? Thanks! :)
Maybe in 2014, but 2015 was decidedly Microsoft’s show.
Knowing what we know about the PS4 needing the juice under the PS4K hood coming next year to do VR justice, isn’t showing this off and releasing this fall just a giant cocktease? We’ll have a potentially great VR system that won’t really provide a smooth experience until you upgrade your console hardware...
Wow...Battletoads, RAAM, and the Arbiter all in KI? This game *IS* slowing becoming Microsoft’s version of Super Smash Brothers. And this is a good thing.
Considering their recently announced breakthrough, I figure we’ll get a slew of multi-disk BC games shown today (e.g. Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon) that will be available for installation/play later this week. :)
Does “4K Ultra HD video and Blu-ray” mean that the XBox One Slim will play UHD Blu Ray disks? Or is it merely up-converting Blu-Ray disks to 4K? This isn’t clear in what’s written above...
...If it’s the former, I’d be willing to trade up, and that’s a good deal—we’re getting a new receiver and TV for 4K, so I’d love…
Dude...Sony’s show wasn’t stinky. It just lacked anything truly immediate for PS4 fans to call substantive. I posted elsewhere, but it’s a view of what you value more: seeing stuff you’ll play in 6-12 months (which Microsoft came through with flying colors on) or seeing stuff you’ll play 6 months to 3 years out (where…
That’s because they did. Microsoft is playing the short game (to amazing results) with their library, while Sony’s lead has afforded them the luxury of playing the long-game via announcements that may not come to fruition until CY 2017 (or realistically with Sony first party stuff, CY 2018).
But Microsoft really has…
I fully expect Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, and a number of multi-disk games to be announced at E3 as Backwards Compatible and with the follow-up announcement of “OH HEY YOU CAN PLAY THEM RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!! w00000000tttt111!!!!”
Last time I checked, games that play themselves aren’t even games, let alone mediocre.
And even if the mechanics are sound, that doesn’t mean there aren’t better games they could be spending their time on. This is a “best bang-for-your-buck” (okay...yen) scenario. This isn’t a particularly compelling FF game to…
Yeah, that’s what I was afraid of. I guess I’ll just continue to wish for a full 3-D re-visioning of Final Fantasy Tactics or *GASP* a f*****g sequel.
And I’d wager the FF VI and FF Tactics fan bases are larger than, say FF XII. We’re just older, and preoccupied with our lawns and keeping kids off of them.
Seriously, WTF? They’re going to do a HD version of Final Fantasy XII when there are a number of more deserving entries in the series that should have a full-fledged HD remake (FF IV, FF VI, FF IX, Final Fantasy Tactics) or a f*****g legitimate, non-craptacular sequel (Final Fantasy Tactics, Ogre Tactics).
Well, now that Microsoft is doing BC on the Xbox One and recently announced that multi-disk games can be done...you probably won’t have to go get a 360. Just get an XB1 if/when they announce that those titles are now BC and have fun. :)
Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata (which eventually came out for PS3 after a few years), and Infinite Undiscovery were all good JRPGs that were exclusive (mostly) for the XBox 360.
