Why should she have to delete these? Other than avoiding being the target of trolls, I mean? I can see not tweeting them from an official account or after you get hired by a publication with serious twitter rules, but these aren’t bad at all...

He’s allowed to say that because he’s lived his entire life comfortably ensconced inside his white male skin that has shielded him and protected him against racism and injustice. And just like a typical white male Conservative, he’s completely unable to consider any other points of view other than his own.

He’s not wrong, in the sense that he is only speaking for and about white people. 

We’re a a nation of 300 million people, and there are some bad people, there are some racist people, but on balance we are not a racist country, we’re not an unjust country.

Anyone who thinks machine learning or “artificial intelligence” have any place in law enforcement have no fucking clue how unreliable and poorly suited this technology is.

I can’t get over this part in particular. It’s such an obvious deterrent to this bullshit, and hell, departments are always already trying to get money from citizens however they can. (I mean, anyone here ever tried to park in West Hollywood without getting ticketed? They are ON YOU about one minute after a meter…

And if the sight of a black man is so damned unusual, are they really claiming that they’ve never so much as noticed their neighbor? 

“Excuse me Becky, why did you call the cops on your neighbor using his key to enter his home?”

Don’t open the door, lock it, get your gun and ask for a warrant.

Again - when are these cop-callers going to be held responsible? The neighbor LIED TO THE POLICE when she denied making the call, and it would be so easy to trace the phone record.

Classism is Racism when decades of past racism lock a particular race in poverty.

Also, classism is just as wrong as racism.
