Yes, but they won’t demonstrate until they have to. Also, taking it out of orbit isn’t required, just pushing it where it isn’t effective is enough as is turning it so it no longer faces where it was facing.

I don’t apply anything to those, but I love love love the combination sponge/pumice rock cleaners. I have well water also, so that has been really great for getting those kinds of mineral-heavy deposit/stains off the toilet.

I put on my rubber glubs and scrub the stains with an abrasive cleaner. But first, I pour a bucket of water into the toilet so that it flushes (water level goes down but does not fill up again).

I managed to remove some mineral deposits from the bottom of the bowl - they were always underwater but still super hard. I removed all the water I could using a cup, and then I scrubbed with a sponge (coarse side) and a lot of baking soda. It didn’t come out, but I let it sit for about 1 hour and then I squirted

Barkeepers friend, its the best for hard water in toilets. get the powder kind and mix it to a paste with some water. this way it sticks and cleans till you flush, may need some sponge work the darker the stains.

Soak the entire toilet bowl - up to the rim - overnight (or while away at work) in a diluted cleaning solution (vinegar works well too) by blocking the outlet in the bottom with a water balloon. Vinegar or delimer solution will get rid of most hard water mineral buildup. What doesn’t dissolve will be loosened up and

Coke is a really bad idea. I know a lot of people think it works, and it does, but only in the short term. Coke is so acidic that it can ruin the finish of things you clean with it. Once it starts to pit the porcelain, the situation will just get worse over time.

We’ve found two things work pretty well. We bought a home about a year ago, and the people that lived here before never even attempted to really clean the toilets. So there used to be nasty hard-water stains throughout the bowls...

I have hard well water too. I finally bought Pumie Scouring Stick (it’s made out of pumice). It doesn’t damage the porcelain at all and gets rid of the water line mark that is always there. It’s like magic. It’s in the cleaning aisle usually on the bottom shelf. Probably have seen it a million times like I have and

Flush the toilet so those streaks get wet. After the toilet fills and the water is completely done filling, lay a tissue folded in half on the wet streak then use something like blue Lysol toilet bowl cleaner or CLR to wet the tissue. Let it sit for an hour or so (you don’t want it to dry out) flush the toilet again

I’ve heard Coca-Cola works well if you let it sit in the bowl, but I imagine it might drip down also. Hopefully someone else here will have a better idea.

The Transit-sized Volkswagen Crafter would make a much better camper. I really wish VW would bring this over here to the US.

Anybody else see GMC Safari/Chevy Astro with VW bits?

Unfortunately that’s not fair to the kids who don’t have a vote in the matter. However I am a firm believer that if you choose not to vaccinate that I as a responsible parent should have equal rights to be able to request that they do not attend the same school as my child.

Sentimental attachments are fine. If not, he can buy my ‘58 ragtop I have for sale. Car has never lived out of a 5 mile socal radius since new, and for the last 50 years on the same street.

Sometimes I text Allen to let him know.
