Everything is about intersectionality now. We’ve got to rank every tragedy, transgression, perceived oppression and even mean remarks by who they effect, and what category those effected belong to. Depending on the sexuality, race, gender and politics of the person effected, we either cheer or moan.

They idea that a sequel in a trilogy closing out a beloved saga should seek to be free of the shackles of that very saga is nonsensical at best and precisely why we’re in this mess.
