Hi Dave - thanks for joining us!

That’s good news. The NCs are known to have hub failure issues when tracked hard. People usually switch them out for the more robust RX8 hubs.

Picture shows 0-60 in 3.8 seconds, not 3.2. Still stupid fast.

Awesome! As a fledgling shadetree wrench, I need all the help I can get.

I drove a 370Z and a previous gen Mustang back-to-back and they feel completely different. Mustang had a much softer ride and very numb, highly boosted steering. Z had much firmer ride and taut handling with way more steering feel. Just depends on what you’re looking for. I would take the Z for the type of driving I

Pics are blue-balling me. Need to see its ass.

[Morpheus] What if I were to tell you...that lap times aren’t everything.

Yeah, I remember the auto pubs at the time claiming it was a legitimate 3-series fighter. I was mildly intrigued as a kid. Forgotten all about them since.

Man, fuck highsides.

Came here to say this. Such a great design and one of my favorites. Looks futuristic next to the Typhoon.

Great point. I tell people that I’m into cars and then I get into my 2012 Mazda5 minivan and drive off leaving them somewhat confused.

I don’t even mind that Chevy went with a see-through hood feature for the ZR-1. What bugs me is that they thought a plastic supercharger cover was worthy of such a feature.

So true. Whenever I see a DIY forum saying a particular job only takes 2 hours, I assume it’s going to take me 8 hours. Is everybody just a better mechanic than me?

The chief test driver for Koenigsegg owns an NC Miata as his “fun” car and a Cayman GT4 is one of his dream cars? This guy is like a Swedish version of me - only cooler and with a more fun job.

Don’t know. Don’t care.

Very nice and clean. If I owned a 350Z, this is pretty much exactly how I would set it up and drive it. Great car control and heel-toe technique in the video.

So what you’re basically saying is you prefer power and straight line acceleration over less power and nimble handling on the street. That just means you derive a different flavor of joy from cars than I do. Carry on.

Agreed. Good on Mazda for sticking to their principles here. In my opinion, slow car fast will always be more enjoyable on the street.

You’re right. I was referring to the top video with the Renault 5. Thanks for clarifying.

Really? Why are the rear tires so much wider than the front if it’s FWD?
