In 2010 I was looking for a car for when I got back stateside. I remember seeing a high mileage, 80k ish, zandarni or whatever the fuck it was special edition NSX for $26k. Adjusted for inflation that’s like 38k? I don’t think these will hit the same lows, but I can see them hovering above where the true incarnation

I certainly agree the entire point of the original NSX was to be the “daily driver supercar”. But you have to admit that the newer one was a disappointment. Way too expensive, too slow.. and too complicated for what it should have been.

The most shocking thing is that new C8 Corvette is everything the ‘new’ NSX should

Industrial/product design is the new trend. Only going to get more popular as we transition to autonomous vehicles that are more of an appliance than a car. I love Polestar and the industrial aesthetic, but I think in 10 years we’ll see a resurgence in more soulful organic designs.

Now playing

Petrolicious Fast and Loud Art. This isn’t my taste in cars (will almost never see me own a mustang or a muscle car), but rather this is my philosophy.

I have visited more than 2/3 of the states in the country and Mississippi is not one of them.  This is one of the many reasons I plan to keep it this way.

Huge EV with massive battery (because they will be massive) drive me crazy. Yeah save the planet.

I don’t have a problem with this. It certainly seems like this kid knows what he is doing. I’ve got to imagine his dad offered him lots of training/instruction before this video was made. And the kid is driving on a closed track. The most likely worst-case scenario is the kid wrecks into a barrier. From a danger

So now, a 5mph impact to the front corner of vehicle will now cost you >$5000 in repairs? I remember people claiming the “1st gen” Thor’s Hammer headlights were expensive to replace, so this will be crazy.

I’d say that Lewis is a bit of a baby, but shit, listen to the man when he tells you what to fix. His résumé is pretty stacked. Also, I’m hoping for anybody to be able to beat Max. Not because I dislike Max but because I hate to see that wife-beating c*nt Jos Verstappen have any kind of joy in his life.

I live around some wealthy neighborhoods and I don’t double take when I see a Urus anymore. I barely notice them honestly. Urus has no more road presence than any other luxury SUV at this point. I’d argue that for folks who didn’t already know what it was, they never noticed it to begin with. A 15 year old gallardo

That isn’t a design flaw on a Wankel, but a Feature. The fact that Mazda got them to last more than a couple revolutions was a miracle.

Apex seals.

MK8 GTI/R’s infotainment/HVAC interface.

Alfa Romeo 4C... ruined by the mandatory automated manual transmission:

Tesla Model 3. I like the size, the price, the exterior styling, and could, I guess, live with the interior. I can afford it, and in 2 or 3 years will likely be looking for something electric. But the company owner is a deal breaking flaw for me (and especially my wife).

Lemme start it:  Automatic trans in an E30 is a critical failure.

Clarkson’s an ass. His schtick (adolescent, ribald, sexist humor) was past its prime fifteen years ago. He’s had a lot of success by pushing boundaries (in absolutely the wrong direction) and then apologizing. What he wrote was absolutely disgusting.  There’s simply no humor in it, even if one were to assume he was

Both James May and Richard Hammond have excellent shows and material on their own.

If you need console compatibility, than this is a good option for Direct Drive.

I gasped at this
