Consumer Reports is generally great, they just prioritize different things than most car enthusiasts do is all. Still very useful though.

They’re awesome, get one. I love mine to bits. Not literally to bits though because it is extremely reliable.

You have to admit that CR ratings are far better than Jalopnik commenter anecdotal reliability ratings... which are based on tears and disappointment from people buying 15 year old German cars and expecting the tech to work like new.

Subaru? Any company that shoves CVTs in nearly every model should be shamed. Otherwise fine cars (drove 2 Foresters back to back as company fleet cars- great except for that CVT).

This. I just want to know if this is worth $32k, compared to some other car I could spend the same amount of money on. I’m done grading EVs on a curve; compared to everything else I could possibly get on the market in the same budget, how does the Bolt EUV stack up?

This plan relies on the average Tesla buyer being a blindly brand loyal idiot who just wants to be able to say they drive a Tesla for their social status and don’t actually care about having the best car.

Yeah, I agree. I’m not sure what I’m going to do about it in the long term, but for now it’s pretty reflective so it does my minimal lighting situation a lot of favors.
