Oh yeah, it was totally a lynching. Everybody knew Littlefinger is a bad guy, and they’re like “whatever, just kill him and improve the world already.”

I have to think the Knights of the Vale knew exactly what happened to Lysa but they had no proof or power to do anything about it. Some of them probably weren’t too sad to see her go either, but they still don’t want Littlefinger to get away with it. So when he is getting his comeuppance they’re like “you made this

The problem with this is that it means Arya was acting bizarrely towards her sister for no reason.

Who has suffered the worst character decay since we ran past the end of the books? Is it Tyrion, getting owned left and right by his sister? Is it Littlefinger, spending all of his time talking nonsense and not successfully manipulating anybody? Or maybe Varys and his complete lack of anything this season? I’m

If he was being honest he could have gone:

She wasn’t going to help either way. The bit with Jon was just a show on her part.

On the other hand Tyrion is hardly in a position to be calling anybody out for bad decisions/advice this season. I think the only piece of good advice he managed to deliver was the one about Dany not taking her dragon’s up to save Jon’s stupid ass, but he didn’t even suggest it for a good reason, just a lame “eh,

So what is Cersei’s grand plan here for when everything goes her way and the Northmen and Dany’s armies are destroyed by the Night King and the Golden Company has all of southern Westeros in her name? Does she think that mercenaries are going to stick around to fight the dead? Would it even matter? Does she have some

He did consult Lord Commander Dick and the Dukes of Balls, and they were 110% for bending the knee. Maybe Jon didn’t hear what happened t0 Robb when he started thinking with his junk?

I figure they just ran west along the wall and managed to get off of the section that collapsed, so they’re stuck at the top and have to walk over to the next castle for some steps down. This also conveniently avoids having them killed by the million white walkers now stomping all over Eastwatch.

Personally I thought that scene stretched credulity a bit when scrawny little Theon managed to beat up that all beef pirate with one good headbutt and some quick punches to the face.

Now? He’s been Lord Commander of the Friendzone ever since she was born.
Dany tried to make it all about how he was selling information back to Robert and the small council when she sent him away, but really she just isn’t into old dudes who aren’t even blood related.

What are the chances that in the books the whole army of the dead turns out to be a big nothing as they smash into the wall for the thousandth time over this millenia and find they have no way to break it? The only time the White Walkers have ever been a threat to the Nightwatch was during that blisteringly stupid

I like how early in the Dragonpit negotiation Cersei says “If you had accepted without terms I wouldn’t have trusted you.” Then later she comes out and says “I accept without terms.” and everybody trusts her.

How’s it going Grey Worm?

Pretty much. The wall has been impenetrable to white walkers for a millenia. No reason to think there is anything different this time, not unless you go and hand them a magical dragon.

In the books they have this horn that will supposedly bring it down, although it was apparently stored north of the wall so it’s

When it was suggested that Dany fly up there I noticed that Jon was quick with the “No, she should sail with us, on the same ship as me, in the next room over. For...reasons.”

I also thought it was a bit convenient for him to go “Maybe that old witch was lying?” I get it that he’ll say anything to jump her bones at

I was slightly surprised when Cersei showed up at all. If the show had any balls at all the Dragonpit would have erupted in Dragonfire as soon as all of the main characters walked in. Cersei can’t even be consistent with her supervilliany!

It doesn’t seem likely that Euron would have left her on the Iron Islands. Too many potential allies of her around there and nobody trustworthy (they’re Greyjoys after all) to watch her. I’m guessing he’s keeping her on his ship so he can taunt her whenever he gets bored.

It would be, except that Dani apparently has zero spies or informants anywhere in Westeros. I mean they missed the whole damn Lannister army marching halfway across the continent. There’s no way they’ll spot those ships heading in the wrong direction.
