Exactly. I don't think Julianne Moore is saying she refuses to answer the question, "who are you wearing?" But the interviewers should move the fuck on after that.

I kind of love him. There, I said it. If you're on the fence, take a long hard look at Ansel Elgort, and you'll see what I mean.

Random side note: Ansel Elgort's existence has made me appreciate Shia LeBeouf quite a bit more. Shia is many things, but basic is not one of them. I'll take unbalanced and off-putting any day.

Dan Savage has evolved a LOT on bisexuality. He's been pretty upfront on how his experiences as a gay man colored his view for a long time. He's evolved a lot on trans issues, too. And he's been honest about it. Dan Savage is not a good target. He's done more than anyone to point out that what people like Rick

Did you see the hate fest this entire thread devolved into once Mark gave them that opening? People love to hate. I sometimes feel that I don't like certain celebrities but this has reminded me to keep on mostly keeping it to myself because it comes off as incredibly obnoxious and more than a little sad.

They're making a movie! I think Ron Howard is directing. Great book. I read "No Man Knows my History," the biography of Joseph Smith by Fawn Brodie, on Krakauer's recommendation. It got her excommunicated by LDS, so you know it's good.

Rosamund Pike. Fantastic actress with an impressive resume.

I think you're missing the point of that statement.

The most interesting thing about the Robin Wright story was the reaction of bros on the internet last night. So, so many bros and trolls saying, "Ewwww, gross. She should keep that to herself!!!!"

If only I believed her.

His brand of "comedy" is the laziest. It doesn't make me laugh, it makes me feel vaguely sad, yet contemptuous.

I love Aveda. I find those L'oreal no-sulfate products are pretty good subs (I'm currently using the EverStrong anti-breakage shampoo, conditioner and "dual serum," which has been pretty great, actually, even with heat styling). But I love the occasional Aveda splurge. I bet it smells awesome.

I did the Rachel too. It was...not a good choice.

It's almost like Jesuit Dallas is more focused on shoving conservative cultural and social ideas down students' throats than teaching them to reject a "culture of bigotry and racism." Just a thought.

Yeah that's probably where I remember it from. Seems like something I saw on Facebook. Sometimes, a meme is spot on.

This photo is giving me flashbacks to my freshman high school yearbook photo that I've tried so hard to forget.

I looked up the headband trick and it looks like a great way to put it up and give it some shape while you sleep. I only wash mine 2-3 times per week.

Very well said. I love that line about who installed the buttons.

Yes but I think the point was that Big Edie was exceptionally manipulative and aimed her manipulation squarely at Little Edie, who was far from perfect but was never really given a chance. Big Edie knew exactly which buttons to push.

I don't doubt it. It's just not a very good act.
