Tony getting pissed off and flipping out is hilarious too. In Pine Barrens when he’s on the phone and has a bad reception: “God damn it! Is there any way the package could survive!? Is there any way the package could survive!?” and AJ is on the couch watching TV and looks over with this “what the fuck are you talking

Jesse, Badger, Skinny Pete and Badger together always cracks me up. One of the reasons why season 2 is one of my favorites.

Funny like a 40 degree day!

“The Sopranos began to become more about a single character than the overall storytelling.”

Totally. That’s a huge reason I prefer the earlier seasons to the last one. One of my favorite parts of that show was the ensemble. Just watching all those guys hang out together was great. But as Tony got more paranoid, selfish

I think part of that was David Chase initially wanting to end after four seasons, but with HBO throwing him more money he ended up extending it and had to stretch out some storylines. I know a lot of the other Sopranos fanatics love season 6, but it’s my least favorite season. And I’m a huge fan of season 4, which a

Fuck yeah. One of my favorite parts of season 1.

And I’ve heard people say that The Sopranos didn’t have to rely on constant action and miraculous last second escapes to make up for a lack of depth and realism. I don’t happen to agree with either argument since I’m a huge fan of each show. I think they both do what they set out to do incredibly well, and both stars

Absolutely. Enjoying each other’s company could strictly be a physical one time thing. Just be upfront and figure out you’re both on the same page.

I love that song! Great choice of music for that scene. I think The Sopranos was the all time best at utilizing music, but Breaking Bad was pretty fucking solid at it too. One of my favorites is Jesse showing off his new system to Badger and Skinny Pete by playing that stupid “Money, Money, Money, Money, Money, Money,

MacLaren did an amazing job at the cartel compound in Salud. Possibly my favorite action sequence in the entire series. From the cartel dropping like flies into the pool, Mike taking out Cartel Mike with the wire, how they cut the part with Jesse firing the pistol during the getaway, and Gus Fring in ultimate badass

Exactly. Some guys act like it’s an either or option at the two extreme ends of the spectrum: “Oh, it’s unacceptable to force ourselves on women? So we have to meekly ask for permission to initiate every form of physical interaction we want to engage in, or we’ll be accused of rape!?”

You can actually get to know

Oh wow, I had no idea they used the same producer as Soundgarden. Superunknown is a great album, but I can definitely see how trying to apply that heavier sound to Verve Pipe could backfire. I never listened to a whole lot of these guys outside of “Photograph”. I think I may have listened through my friend’s Villains C

I love “Me White Noise” off of Think Tank. My favorite song of theirs.

Yeah, that’s who Farva was saying that to. O’Hagan asks what the hell he’s doing wearing that (Local Police Uniform) in his station, then Farva responds with his line.

But were they hits?

Duran Duran! I knew there was someone in it from a band I like.

I always remember the Alomar as a Blue Jay.

It was an 80's “supergroup” I believe. Robert Palmer was lead singer. Not sure who else was in it.

I’m not familiar with that one. I’ll have to check it out.

Now playing

I can’t stand “The Freshman” by The Verve Pipe, but love “Photograph”.
