I'm moved by the robot's tears.
You have to be followed by Jezebel for your comments to automatically be shown, but if your comment is starred by someone who is followed than your post will show. (sorry for the redundancy if you already knew this!) Apparently Jez unfollowed me. :(
Why are my posts suddenly in the grey?!?!?! They always came up immediately before!!!
When Jez (and other outlets) wrote outraged articles about the Melissa McCarthy she came forward and told everyone to calm the hell down because she pulled the coat off the rack and wanted to wear it (in fact I think she said she liked it so much she wanted to steal it) and that she loves and endorsed the photo. …
I agree, but it's going to come up if colleges or employers google him (which employers will, colleges may if someone thinks his name sounds vaguely familiar, or since he's from steubenville. that is if he goes to college.) and in background checks. I think that is where it would be the most damaging.
I'm fairly sure there are some pretty messed up people out there that actually do believe he's innocent.
On that note, Laura, can you let us know when Mark will be posting again?! We had his loveliness and then all of a sudden Doug appeared again.
Not sure why, but I sort of giggled at this being letter being posted right after the "2 Broke Girls" article.
They still believe the kid is innocent so of course they are going to spew BS . At this point they probably think the worst thing Richmond can do is suddenly backtrack, admit guilt, and apologize to the victim and her family; instead his responses (and those made on his behalf) will remain completely narcissistic and…
In high profile cases this behavior is quite normal. Yes, lawyers defend their clients in court, but they can also serve as PR vehicle as they try to protect their client from the press, etc. when they are released. Lawyers determine their level of involvement in a case and can stay on retainer and therefor speak…
George Zimmerman's lawyer said he was on his own after Zimmerman continued to bury himself with his statements and actions post trial. This lawyer is doing a bit of PR and trying to help his clients cause; perhaps he is still on the payroll, or perhaps he is just trying to make his integration back into society a bit…
Sadly, it's not just you. The attorney is trying to do exactly that; he still "believes" his client is "innocent" and has to act accordingly. It's his job to help get sympathy for the asshole And make him look like the victim at this point.
I think the post just shared on Jez from io9 is hysterical and so ironic. Whenever Jez tries to post science the authors blend causation and correlation and someone has to comment that they are not the same.
I'm a scientist who moved over to business and I've never really doubted someones credential based on their suit, and that includes when I was an investment banker in Manhattan. You could probably look on Ann Taylor or J.Crew and find a suit for a decent price since it's winter sale time. I don't think you need an…
I miss Mark already.
Kinja fail - sorry!
one of my dentist friends said it's not entirely crazy since she's so far from having her adult teeth; they can't pull them because she'd be sans teeth for many years which would impede her ability to eat, and the teeth will likely cause her a lot of pain if left to die. Eventually they would rot, chip and fall out…
