I also do not like Rashida's use of the word "whores", but I'm wondering if she was lashing out because she's losing parts or not being invited to read for parts because perhaps she has firm lines in the sand about what she is willing to show/not show and do/not do for a part. This could have been a completely

Agree. I also think other women (besides those who are posing nude) lose power due to these situations, but I know that some feminists feel the way I do, and others are dramatically opposed to my view.

Agree. I know there are different definitions of feminism, and considering her tweet, I have a feeling Rashida Jones and I are on a similar page.

Who needs opposable thumbs?!?

That's pretty much the equivalent of checking a few bags... Good to know that the fine/punishment for performing sexual acts and showing your genitalia repeated, when asked to stop, can be quantified in checked bag charges.

how do you feel about snakes?

Honestly, if it's one day of jury duty she should go, follow the guidelines they have given her (allowing her to step out, etc.) and make a good case for why she should not be placed on a jury. She may not get placed on a jury, or even actually interviewed to be placed on a jury. There's a chance that she will be

Thank you, I really appreciate you saying that!

*shudder* Komen *shudder*

I agree with all of this.

On a few levels I am glad they rejected the funds also, and, if you read my other comments, I just hope the funds go somewhere and that what happened was not done in vain and the disgusting pigs keep the money and got to grope a bunch of women.

Yes, and I agree with this also, but as I said below, I don't want the women who were groped to have been done so in vain.

I never said their actions are justifiable. I find them to be crude, disgusting and absolutely distasteful. At the end of the day, I just don't want the women who participated to have done so in vain and basically have been groped for naught.

Mmm... cake.

I just hope someone takes the money so that the women didn't participate in vain.

Yes, this is a good point. I went from the academic setting to the pharma setting, so I'm just used to being the devil I guess (or desperate for research dollars). But, you do make a very good point about the overall image that must be maintained by the organization.

What these men did was disgusting, but, not accepting funds does a disservice to the women who willingly participated under the assumption money would be donated to breast cancer research/foundation/patients/etc.. Since I work in oncology, I've pondered how I would feel about receiving these funds, and my concern was

I love the bottom, but the bra is sort of eh.

It's also possible she didn't want to do a half naked shoot or one in clothes similar to Taylor Swift or Megan Fox's selections. Perhaps she felt sexy in this coat. It's also about more than the coat, it's about her comfort level with the clothing options. I actually think her face looks fabulous here and her

Honestly, I'm not too unimpressed by this pic as I think she looks fabulous. It also makes me want a similar coat, though I know it wouldn't look as good on me as it does Melissa.
