Can’t wait to hear Malala’s tweet about this.

I originally read this as she survived but also killed her husband. O.o
Nope. It has nothing to do with their status here or their country of origin. It would be the criminal activities. Jesus. Really? You’re trying to find racism in saying someone committing a criminal act should be punished? No. That demeans real claims of racist behavior. STAWP.
My sister-in-law is a Chinese national and she’s talked about how these kind of kids are a big problem when they go back to China too. The parents are essentially noveux rich and send the kids here to do what they want. When they get back to China they continue this behavior, being violent and disrespecting their…
I don’t care how much loneliness they suffer. They are monsters for doing that. They need to be sent home, never to return to the States.
I have this video bookmarked so I can play it when I have supremely bad days. It helps!
Right? Why don’t they just sneak in an ISIS attack on a city inhabited by puppies?
Sometimes I think being a Gawker music writer is like being a sheep, as described by Douglas Adams.
Meh. I feel like this song and this style has been done 1000’s of times already.

And what’s weird is that I like Amy Winehouse, but find other artists styling their songs this way trite.
Maybe it’s all the vocal runs, with no pure notes? I don’t know — Amy Winehouse did it too and sounded like nobody else, but a lot of these young singers seem interchangeable in sound
Me too. I know what you mean. I can hear it and recognize she is talented, but have no inclination to hear more. My niece, on the other hand, would adore her.
She’s obviously talented, but with so many young singers adopting this style (don’t know what to call it, but it’s the prodominant style on radio these days) she doesn’t sound unique. Taylor’s talent is more songwriting than singing, but when she comes on the radio, there is no mistaking her for anyone else. That’s…
She’s got a lovely voice, but this cover sounds kind of generic compared to the original T-Swizzle/Kendrick track. Part of what makes the original song so rollicking is the bass and mix of singing and speaking the lyrics.
