If she thinks TERF is offensive...

There are precisely two circumstances when it’s OK - even admirable - to misgender someone.

*lolz

Gurl, who ever said drag was “fair?”

If you officially designate someone a Lip Sync Assassin, that’s exactly what I expect you to produce: someone who slays the house boots down.

LOL at the people who have apparently never filled out any form that includes race information, because apparently they’ve never seen the “White (non-Hispanic)“ checkbox.

It’s very clear (and a little sad) that some of y’all don’t know (or are pretending not to know) that Latinx people can be white, white-passing or Afro-Latinx (see: Ted Cruz, Cameron Diaz, etc.). In fact, they can also engage in anti-black racism. Whether you consider her white-passing, what we know is Selena Gomez is

Wow the bar is gonna be high for any of these girls to win a lip-synch. Going up against one of the show’s best lip-synchers would be hard enough, but if this week was any indication, they’ll also have to perform to a song perfectly suited to the assassin. Like, I don’t think India could’ve taken Yvie no matter what

yeah, having Yvie as the first lipsync assassin just isn’t even fair haha. Yvie killed it, as always.

I don’t think she belonged in the bottom 3 but it did feel Ongina was graded on a curve. It's just a different game these days

I enjoyed the little bit of silliness this early in the game, with Miz Cracker getting a Katya best narrator energy, Shea and Jujubee as frontrunners, and some fun reintroduction of queens who haven’t been on for ages (Onjina in particular is adorable).

Poor Ongina. She’s in deeper over her head than Tiffany is in Trump’s Favorite Kid pageant.

Okay so...

I like this idea. They are not just using their reach and influence to say things that may or may not appear performative, they are pretty much giving their own voice to people who do not really have one, and letting them speak their truth.

Dear The CW, Please, please let the people buy themselves a Beebo. These are trying times, and Beebo want cuddles.

Alice killed her mother.

Hard disagree, the first season was an incredibly insular story about Kate and her family — something people at the time noted was a detriment to the show. By putting a new character at the center of the show you’re throwing all that out. They’d honestly be better off relaunching the show under a new name f this is

I could totally get it if an actor has been playing a character so long they seem completely intertwined. Like I basically can’t see a Green Arrow that’s not Stephen Amell. But with this... it’s been one season. And as the article noted, Rose didn’t blow minds or anything. The CW needs to realize their audience aren’t

Agreed. Bad choice. Almost every arc from the first season, from Alice’s to Sophie’s to the Dad’s, are going to just sort of abruptly end or at least be wrenched in new direction, but they’re going to keep all the same supporting cast around with a new lead that they’re not designed to, you know, support? Why? This

We at the network want a Batwoman with brattitude. She’s geeky, she’s “on main.” You’ve heard the expression, “adorkable”? Well, this is a Batwoman who gets “nerdelicious!” Consistently and thoroughly.

I can’t say I’m a fan of this move. Creating a new character, whether whole-cloth or based on a comics character, seems much more painstaking and liable for failure versus just recasting Kate Kane. It’s not like Ruby Rose’s performance was that indelible.

That comma tweet hits hard.
