According to the Los Angeles Times, Bryant filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Island Express Helicopters and Island Express Holding Corp as well as the estate of pilot Ara Zobayan. The lawsuit alleges that pilot Zobayan was negligent and failed “to use ordinary care in piloting the subject aircraft.” The flight

The decision to keep flying was the pilot’s decision, and he died in the crash too. Suing the family of a man who died because of his own non-malicious mistake seems distasteful to me, especially given how much more money than the Zobayans the Bryants already have.

ah ha! nice try pete

I feel like not enough is said about just how solid the women of SNL have been for the past, I dunno, ten years?

God I hope Cecily Strong gets a big break in a TV show or film or truly whatever. She’s been a trooper the past 7 years and is my favorite cast member and it’s sad how she’s used like human flex tape for this leaking ship.

Wanna see an SNL article not about Pete or the news anchor guys someday, all just “Cecily Strong shows up to work regularly, does good job, does not look like a candy cane with a bunch of tattoos on it.”

Mikey Day is hilarious, and actually likeable. Whereas Davidson thinks it’s okay to become more and more of an asshole if you are self-aware about it.

Yeah, this isn’t his first year, and he’s not any appreciably better today than he was when he first started out, not to mention, he’s not exactly a guys whose overall look blends in and can play anything. When you make yourself a one note joke, you’re going to be a one note joke.

Hey, Hand That Feeds Me! Come here a sec!

While it’s certainly not above Lorne Michaels to just retread the same fucking joke a billion times - sometimes, like with the post-2016 Trump bits, they even forget to add the joke to the repetition - I don’t really feel like Pete Davidson has shown anything to make the argument for using him in better material.

wow i guess reflexively branding yourself as a self-aware deadbeat who knows he’s a letdown as a cast member didn’t pay off after all

What kind of person thinks it's necessary to make nazi concentration camps worse?

This is the problem that I had with the show. Hunters was great, but when you treat all Nazis like psychotic super villains then you make it easier for Sally-Ann Anti-Semite to excuse their casual bigotry. “I’m not like those Nazis. I don’t want to do medical experiments on Jews; I just don’t want my daughter to date

Mary is MUCH too good a character to take offense at not knowing. If anything, based on her past behavior, I suspect she’ll find it enormously cool and immediately want in.

Well, there certainly seems to be a following amidst the fans.

Man, no matter the reality, Ben Lockwood's life just goes to shit, huh? I bet in another one of those lives his house just gets hit by a meteor.

I think the Church of Beebo might have something to say about this.

“Lena didn’t use Kara’s betrayal as an excuse for her actions.”

I dunno, the entirety of her “I will PROGRAM people to be honest and good” seems to be pretty heavily motivated by that.

Corville’s Church of Rao (Earth Orthodox) is perhaps my favorite fictional religion & frankly makes a lot of sense

Given that James and Cat at least got shout-outs, I think I most missed Tyler Hoechlin having a cameo as her cousin
