Best fight ever would be an ice cream eating contest between Kara and Red Daughter with Flash supplying the goods.

Hard agree on the creepiness of them going into Kara’s apartment.
I think the kid being saved was just Otis deciding to be nice for whatever reason because he explicitly told the kid to play dead if Lex came around.
They announced that Lex would be coming to Supergirl this season way back in October, about a month before they cast Cryer, so I’m going to assume it was the plan all along to bring him in. After all, Lockwood is a compelling character but he’s not the kind of Big Bad that can offer superhero bombast the way Lex…
I was thinking before I even watched tonight’s episode how Lex would deal with the Legends. They would probably be pretty easy to manipulate, but too chaotic to push in any desired direction.
My guess is bringing in Lex was the plan all along. You don’t introduce characters who are so tied to the character like Mercy and Otis are, without eventually having the man himself make an appearance (granted for this argument to work please ignore Miss Tessmacher being on the show for two years)
The reference to The Americans, “Don’t go all Philip Jennings on me” and right after Lex and Red Kara wore wigs too, had me positively giddy. What a fun episode.
You found the lie where? Because otherwise this *eyeroll* comes off as an out-of-hand dismissal of the contribution of black women to pop culture.
“Its just that sometimes you can be a little judgmental.”
“What a stupid thing to say. Name one time where I was judgmental.”
“Ok”
Weird brag: I used to see Esposito do improv in Cambridge, MA back in the distant day. Once, she did a whole improvised film of Eleanor Roosevelt as a badass assassin who took out Nazis on the top of a moving train. She’s ALWAYS been amazing.
I actually thought Rosa’s new girlfriend WAS Tig Notaro until I went to twitter after the episode.
I love the lampshading they do about old, forgotten plot points and storylines, like Terry reminding Jake that one time he had a gun to his head and had to write his own suicide note, and Jake laughingly blowing it off. “Oh yeah, I forgot about that!”
IDK how Yvie didn’t win when she had the best performance AND the best look this week.
I now just want an episode of Holt going into Hamilton expecting a historical character drama and instead getting Hamilton, and then having to cover up the fact that he actually, despite himself, enjoyed Hamilton.
I don’t know that this episode was an A but it definitely surpassed expectations. The Trump rusical was actually watchable and the two bottom queens were not full on trainwrecks
Mercedes showed more life and personality when she went to pack up in Untucked than she did anywhere else this season; it was almost enough to understand why she had been cast. Perhaps she was truly intimidated by the other girls.
When I came back from undercover, they made me see a shrink. But then he told me I had dad issues, and I was like “You can’t tell me what to do! You’re not my dad!” so he was a moron.
It’s weird that they are going ignore Jake breaking and entering into Dr. Tate’s office. That should be a huge sign right there that Jake is in trouble.
I liked Joel and the reactions Michelle was giving, it felt odd but also kind of hilarious that the editor kept underlining Michelle’s annoyance.
