I don’t have a problem with Kara facing off against Lex since it’s a natural right of passage for her character to square off against her cousin’s nemesis.

There’s only a 10 year difference between Melissa Benoist and Erica Durance, so the show has precedence for this.
“MISS TESCHMACHER!” delighted me to no end.
Brainy and James do brunch regularly, I can think of no tighter bond.
Lex has pretty obviously been the guy pulling the strings on every plot thread this season from the Children of Liberty to Red Kara, so making him into the final boss both isn't that surprising and saves us from a Lena heel turn.
I liked the Lex, Otis, and Teschmacher ending, even down to the musical Quest for Peace call out. Funniest thing since "Ice Cream!" .
In the midst of this Alex-forgetting-Kara’s-Supergirl plotline, it would kind of hilarious if Lena took it as an opportunity to reveal that she’s known all along.
Manchester Black is dead?
I thought he was magically contained in J’onn’s staff or something.
I’m really not buying that Manchester is dead. Having him killed in the B plot, after all the time they spent developing him? I’m sure we’re going to find out more was going on there.
I disagree 100%. She came for Silky this week for the exact same reason she defended Silky last week. If you’ve got the guts to talk to Ru about the other queens, or in this case, the other queens’ decision to choose Britney in the challenge, then you should have the guts to tell that queen to their face. Silky not…
What I understood from what Yvie was saying was that Silky phoned in the challenge because she wasn’t a fan of Britney, which isn’t great. Yes, the team won, but Silky decided not to try very hard when she didn’t get her way. And when called out for her, she implied that she was ready to lipsync, which also implies…
I can’t believe some of the ignorance on Drag Race this week. Ross being surprised that a Vietnamese immigrant doesn’t have tons of depth in American pop culture. I didn’t even know about Nirvana till I went to school with white folk.
I swear, if I have to hear Silky come at Mercedes about being Muslim one more time, I’m going to throw things. She already made a shitty joke about her blowing things up before the season started. Now she’s picking at her the whole episode. Leave her alone! I’m willing to bet she has been through a lot of shit and she…
Wow. Those bottom queens just all did so bad. Personally I thought Shuga Cain deserved a safe. Definitely not good, but I agreed with Ross that she was the best of the worst and her runway was better than most other girls too.
Also, the six-way lipsync was justified, but hard to really get a handle on who was doing well and who wasn’t. I knew Honey Davenport was going to sashay as soon as she jumped off the stage and they showed the look of displeasure on Ru’s face, but other than that I just found it distracting.
This was a fantastic episode that had one of the best and worst acting challenges rolled into one. It was no surprise why everyone in the bottom team had to lip sync. You just don’t go on to a show that reveres pop culture, not to mention divas in particular, and completely miss the mark with one of the most iconic…
Oh my stars, Team Mariah was a bloody painful mess. Not one single solitary thing about that worked at all.
My bar blew the roof off for Yvie’s jellyfish look too, and we’re in Toronto (which means we’re hardcore Brooke stans.)
Nina absolutely deserved her win for her leadership, improv skills, and stunning runway. That said, Yvie once again stole the runway show. That jelly look elicited a raucous cheer from the bar I was watching from. I mean... in Denver, but still, she’s proving herself to be the queen to look out for.
