I thought Aiden did ok in the challenge, not worse than Dahlia and Crystal though. But her runway look was bottom worthy.

I got Showtime for the L Word reboot, and I was surprised there were some shows I liked and they have a lot of documentaries. It’s kind of bullshit they put All Stars, a show that’s always been on commercial tv, on there. Maybe they’re trying to figure out the HBOMax thing? Viacom seems clueless about streaming.

The reboot isn’t perfect, but there’s been nothing like this show since it finished and I still have such affection for the core characters (except for Jenny. I’m sure Mia Kirshner understands.) I had to quit watching this season because it’s a disaster, but I’m glad I caught these finale looks. There are some jaw-dropping looks (A’keria, no surprise) but Rajah won this red carpet. That purple is stunning on her.

I like most or all of them in the MTQ’s and wonder how I’ll bear any of them being cut, but once the show starts it becomes a lot easier. Silky is trying to create an Alyssa type edit, but it’s not working. At all. Scarlett was also beautiful and likable in the pre-show, but now I’m wondering if she knows how to paint…

The concept and script were a mess. Monet was giving Charlotte face, but she had nothing else to work with (which Felicity Huffman acknowledged.)

I was really surprised by the grade as well. The acting challenge was exceptionally messy, even judging by show standards. It was really almost unfair, that script was so wooden and didn’t go anywhere. Only Monique kind of survived (and Naomi’s performance would have been bottom regardless.)

They definitely struggled to integrate her. On a lesser show, it would have been a disaster. 

I’m not going to say Justice League was a great movie, but it held my attention and made me laugh a few times. Aquaman, however, bored the shit out of me. And I like Aquaman (And James Wan. Jesus, what happened?)

Minority opinion: I loved Ann and I thought she made Leslie more likable, filed down some of those manic edges.

There are people who live for this format, but I agree. I know (but chose to selectively ignore) that the mothership is manipulated as well but All Stars is both so random and overly fiddled with.
