Oh Rashomon, just one of the about 12 movies from Kurosawa I would qualify as “God Damn Masterpiece”.

There is no actual murder scene in Rashomon. There is no objective view, only subjective views.

dang, you got in early, i’m ubisoftsucks244022021

You’re not investing with Kickstarter. It’s a fundraising site, prettied up donations if you will. Unless you want to get all philosophical about how you’re “investing” in a dream, but gator don’t play that shit.

It doesn’t matter because people could have still added more money to it even after hitting the goal. In its very final moments it wasn’t near that 30k. It doesn’t matter if it was 30k or 300. When you’re almost a 3rd short of your goal, that says something.

I’m not trying to be a dick but being 7k short in your final moments of fundraising means something. Whoever donated and pulled it as a major asshole and the dev team certainly didn’t deserve that to happen whatsoever, however, it’s a bit telling being 7k short of your goal in the final moments.

I did enjoy reading this one

This may be the best article I’ve ever read

Would it make more sense with games like these to have attacks do less damage the more you use them? It would keep fights interesting to play and watch because it forces you and your opponent to play differently.

It reminds me of the batman fight rooms for some reason. In those gamemodes you could do the same move

I haven’t had a single issue with GTAV besides the cheaters. =/ Just play privately with friends. Done.

If running off a cliff lined with “WARNING: CLIFF AHEAD” signs is ‘adaptation’, what do you consider ‘progress’?

Ignoring basic copyright law and advising a mod author to simply take whatever assets they want from other content creators? Thats not adapting to change - thats being outright stupid.

The side effect forgotten in this argument is that it now puts undo stress on every modding community, site, and modder, whether they are involved or not. As the dependencies are so interwoven at this point, valve has essentially open the gates for theft and profiting off others without a seeming care. This isnt DLC

Valve should look at how Unity and Unreal handle their marketplace, and follow. There are specific rules about using other peoples content in your games and selling it. What should happen is that the animation pack should be put up as a separate item and users who wish to make money off their mods using the animation

“Haarrumph, what nonsense! Once again the Proleteriat would deny free trade and commerce with their outstretched hands taking away our god-given right for profit. A shame, I say. A shame”

what, like 5-10 years? After it dies and slowly comes back as something different entirely?

Unoriginal, but boy is it true.

The non-lethal style was as slow as you made it. I played non-lethal and it was a frantic menagerie of sprinting and darts and blinking out of sight of guards. Don’t criticize the game design for your boring playstyle.

I've noticed that Japanese enthusiasm is usually more effusive than American, but these just seem especially over the top.

I agree Thor is a fantastic comic, but the reports saying it was outselling the previous run are a little misleading.
