Currently my shortest is Yokai Watch 2, even though I want to one-day return to it. There’s nothing wrong with it per se, but I just haven’t gotten out of the tutorial yet.

Villainous is a board game, so it makes a bit more sense. It's very easy to buy really cool tabletop games and very hard to find time with friends to play them, so they tend to pile up, unplayed.

I’ve come to resent that guys can do something as simple as cut out soda and lose a ton of weight. My dad lost like 100 lbs in less than a year just by switching to Diet Coke. Whereas, I've never had a non-diet soda in over a decade, and it never did a thing for me. It's demonstrably harder to lose weight as a woman

Fair enough. I’ve also got a Switch, so a lot of those games (like Overcooked) I’ve just gotten for that, especially since the Gamecube adapter lets me use my (very old) Gamecube controllers for most of the simpler party games.

The copper one is pretty!   I don’t think I NEED a third PS4 controller (because what besides Gang Beasts even has local multiplayer? XD)  but I wannnt it.

Nuuuuu not another Witcher thumbnail! And you’d been doing so well!

Nuthin. TV studios don’t give back all the money they made selling dvds of the Cosby Show. XD

I keep trying to stop myself from buying new games. “You already have enough backlog!” But then it’s...

If you want a piece of art to always be a surprise, to take you emotionally wherever the artist/author/director/creator wants you to go, that’s fine for you. But a person is not obligated to hand over the reins of their emotions to any random artist just because they’ve created a work. And really, a good work can move

If any card game needs giant AR monsters, it’s Yu-Gi-Oh.  It’s kind of their whole thing!

I wonder what the stats are for games like Sushi Striker, that got a release on both Switch and 3DS. (For the record, I bought Sushi for 3DS because of the stylus support, despite also having a Switch)

Why would that matter? It’s not going to change the numbers. Okay, so Pokemon X by itself sold fewer copies than New Super Mario Bros 2. Sooooooo?

Why would they have to split them out? They’re developed concurrently, usually end up splitting down the middle as far as popularity for one or the other, and most people end up just buying one or the other.  If the Pokemon Company decided to just sell one version instead of two, it would probably sell just about as

It’s not white-washing if a white person decides they want to make a fan costume of a black character, because you can’t pick your own race. What WOULD be white-washing if Hollywood decided to cast a white actor to play Doomfist in an Overwatch movie, because they could’ve just as easily picked a black actor.

Pair that with the Blood Hunter class (a not-quite-official class on DnD Beyond), and you’re almost as close as you can get to the Witcher.

As an animator, I’ve always had a personal pet peeve about people only ever being able to compliment animation on how “smooth” it is. Smooth isn’t hard. We’ve got prebuilt rigs and the ability to let a computer “tween” an infinite number of frames between one key pose and another. Even the crappiest animation can be

I’m excited that this comes with a one-shot adventure!  I have some friends who might want to try D&D and this seems like a fun way to get them involved. :D

Because it's insanely humid in Georgia, and AC also acts as a dehumidifier. Otherwise all my stuff would get mildewy. In fact, our lease requires we don't turn off AC units during the summer months for that reason.

Counterpoint: I’m a non-Magic player, and I’m well-aware that Black Lotus is one of the rarest cards in the game.

I remember as a kid entering a contest where you had to submit your highest photo score, and my sis and I working super hard to get the actual highest score, a perfect photo of Mew. I think we got some sort of consolation keychain for having a perfect score, but not being the one random winner out of the bunch for the
