Bram Stoker definitely used Castle Bran as one of the main basis for Dracula’s castle, and also used Vlad Tepes as inspiration for the character.  It’s not really anything to do with the actual Vlad Tepes living there.  It’s kind of like people going to visit New Zealand because that’s where the Hobbits live, despite

I’ve seen the errata. It just removes the line about Ezmerelda taking care to hide her prosthesis, because it could imply that she was ashamed of it.

I’ve seen a few escape room companies offering virtual escape rooms, where you and your friends are on a Zoom call and there is an employee physically in the escape room with a camera on his head. (Plus some other game interfaces, like a 3d map of the room) And you’re basically telling the employee what to do. It’s

Imagine that; gaming fans want to know about upcoming things related to their hobby.

I’m fortunate enough to still be able to work from home, so most of my stimulus is going to local small businesses and charities that are hurting. And some I'm saving in case my work changes its mind...

E3, which was in June, canceled back in March, so about the same timeframe.

The giant hall wasn’t for the trailers, it was for all the shopping, which is a lot harder to do online. (I mean, big corporations you can do, but I liked browsing the artist alley section) The main room for trailers and things only had room for about 6,000 people.

I really can’t get over how cool that chain one is.

They just replace them with scorpions.

Yeah same. Some cons I go for socializing, some I go for the cosplay, and some for the shopping. Panels are pretty low on my list.

Article correction: That isn’t Taylor Swift pictured in the main article image; that’s Francesca Hayward.

You have to be given the first cherry recipe during Isabelle's announcements on a day where you have no other announcements. Either that or have someone give you a cherry diy recipe. Otherwise the recipes don't drop.

Oh I dunno. People like games for different reasons. This kind of game is good for the people who like customizing, collecting, and just chilling. Others prefer games with more narrative or challenge or exploration. I’ve already sunk 50 hrs into New Horizons, but I can totally understand when it’s not someone’s cup of

Probably, since you can’t close borders between states.  This is a single country, and if stuff had been done from the top from the getgo, no state would’ve been in this situation.

It’s not about the infrastructure, it's about NDAs and secrecy. I work in the animation industry and a lot of companies have security built into their pipeline that intentionally makes it hard or impossible to work from home. After that Sony hack, execs got jumpy.

I like that the final sequence chose to pull back just a little from all those super close-ups. Give Moana (and the animators) a bit of space for body acting.

I work in an animation studio of a goodly size, and I can tell you it’s probably not feasible for most of us to work from home. The software is prohibitively expensive (almost $2k), and a lot of our projects are all tied into a server and a render farm so most of our computers can’t handle the file sizes.

But what I’m saying is you can’t use the name of another fantasy setting just because the mechanics are similar. Divinity Original Sin is its own universe just like Elder Scrolls or Dragon Age or The Witcher have their own universes and lore.

Sounds more like you just set your DC impossibly high.

Because the name of the game is actually based on the stories and not the mechanics? It’s not called Divinity: D&D because it’s not set in the Divinity universe. It’s called Baldur’s Gate because it takes place in the city of Baldur’s Gate, duh.
