Did you not watch? The Direct featured all of those games. :/ Heck, the very first game the Direct showed was a bunch of people in a garage, playing ARMS.

Sure, but the way this podcast sounded (and the Giant Beastcast, where I heard it earlier), felt like a “whatever happened to Phoenix Wright games? I miss those” rather than a “AA 6 was great, I want more!” or “I hope Capcom localizes Great Ace Attorney/2 soon!” response.

Second podcast I’ve heard people go “Maybe Capcom will have a new Phoenix Wright game...”

I use it to keep up with game projects that I’d otherwise lose track of, or good deals on video game stuff. Was the only way I was able to nab some of those “blink and you’ll miss it” restock times of amiibo, back when they were scarce.

I mean, the Harry Potter sections are the most recent, so it stands to reason that their design sensibilities and/or engineering capabilities are improving each time.

I’m actually not that surprised. There are about a dozen avid gamers at my workplace, and only one of them is the kind of person who bothers with old games.

Not unless you’re really fond of old games. Recent versions of Pokemon have included so many additional Quality-of-Life features that I can’t imagine going this far back. Not to mention, the entire stats-system got rehauled in the generation AFTER Gold/Silver, so even if you got into Pokemon from this game, less of…
