Well, Toys R Us as a company definitely isn’t doing so hot. It’s been closing stores left and right for a while. Amazon’s just eating their lunch.

You’re going at this genre from the wrong angle. It’s not meant to attract gamers with the addition of physical tat. It’s meant to entice toy buyers (ie, kids/the parents of kids) to pick the toys that have the additional game component. “Should I get Billy this Ninja Turtle that’s just a bit of plastic, or this

Man, 10-year-old me would’ve eaten this UP. Pokemon-ish monsters, toys, AND a card game to go with?

Honestly, I’ve been pretty happy just getting my chars up to 4 stars, and that makes them quite powerful, and only takes 2,000 feathers, which isn’t so hard to get if you’re doing the quests and weekly Arena.

Takumi still needs a nerf though. >.>

Maybe it’s less for the consumers and more to attract employees for their newly established studio, since it is hiring but unproven.

Yeah, mine was already setup too. I think they had that open in December?

I’m still playing in Atlanta, and no gym I take over with my 2500 Snorlax stays up for more than a half-hour, so I’d say people are still playing it.

Those mini playsets have been around for years in Japan under the name PitaPoke. Glad they’re FINALLY coming Stateside so I can stop paying so much on imports. XD

They were a little more common last week because of that Valentine’s event, but I too only got one.

Nope. Anti-semetic’s definition is “hostile to or against Jews.” The phrase “Kill all Jews” is OBJECTIVELY hostile to Jews. Whether or not it’s a JOKE is subjective, depending on your definition of humor, but whether or not it’s anti-semetic isn’t.

Thumbs up for “Yokai Death-Watch.”

Almost every layman who played didn’t realize you could turn OFF the camera mechanic. Especially during its heyday, I saw a lot of people waving their phones around, trying to view and catch the mons instead of using the AR toggle.

I’ve always seen F2P for “free to play” or “fee to play,” essentially meaning the microtransaction system.

No, that’s what I mean. They’re all Pokemon games that take full advantage of the “collect and train monsters” mechanic, and never feel like they need the trading and battling other players aspect. Similarly, I’ve never really felt that Go needs P2P mechanics, except that they made four Pokemon continent-restricted.

I don’t think the Switch has GPS or cameras, so I don’t think it’d be possible.

Well, consider it like the spinoff games, almost all of which are ALSO missing trading and battling friends: all the Mystery Dungeons, Shuffle, Snap, Rumble World, Rancher, Picross, Puzzle League, Conquest...

An anti-Semitic joke is still anti-Semitic. Whether or not the humor lands is irrelevant to the LITERAL WORDS written down on a sign.

But doesn’t witch make more sense since she flies? (Also they did the mad scientist with Junkrat)

Your first sentence said “the knee jerk reaction to call anyone who so much as mentions Nazis or questions Israel an anti Semite,” but Pewdiepie didn’t use the word Nazi at all OR question Israel.
