Well, that’s why they released the first teaser now, details later. People can totally start saving right now if they wanted. And if they find out in January it’s not got the specs they were hoping for, then they can just spend that saved-money somewhere else.

Wait, so let the general public stew on the bad news for two months before trying to get them excited about games? How is that a good idea? Instead of mixing the bad news in with all the good stuff: “Gosh, that battery life seems pretty low, but I’m willing to overlook it because that new Mario game seems so cool!”

You’re okay getting an IOU at Christmas for something you wouldn’t have for four more months?

That “You think we’ll be able to stream PC games to the Switch?” is the dumbest question I’ve ever heard. Why would Nintendo add a massive library of games to their system that they wouldn’t see a penny of? That’s like asking if we’ll ever get the Google Play store on iPhone.

They’ll still be separate for 2017, at least. We’ve still got a bunch of 3DS games coming out next year, including new IP: Ever Oasis, Snack World, Dragon Quest 8, Lady Layton, etc.

No one starts saving money for a Spring purchase right before holidays, and how many people give someone an “IOU a thing in March” as a Christmas present?

Samurott?

Same!

I don’t know if it’s “dragging” it out. They had to offer some sort of info about the game before everyone leaked the whole darned thing, but they don’t want to bury their good details right before the holiday buying season.

Having to display two different screens (TV and tablet) with different content requires a lot more processing power than just the one. I have my doubts.

I live in Atlanta, and I’ve caught maybe four Drowzee in whole time this app’s been out (and I’m still playing daily). But man if you needed Paras.

I can’t imagine the Switch would be able to play the games digitally either. No dual screen, yeah, but more-importantly no resistive touch-screen. Even if the screen’s capacitive (like the kind on a phone), you won’t really be able to precision-tap with a stylus, and a lot of 3DS games used menus on that screen that

If they price it like a regular console, what’s stopping you from just keeping it docked forever and using their pro-style controller?

Plants vs Zombies Heroes. >.> What, it’s fun!

I’m in Georgia, and Twitter’s working for me. Some images show up broken, but I’m still getting tweets in my feed.

So Pokemon go into the Matrix?

I know other people don’t care about touch-screens as much, but as someone whose favorite system is the 3DS, I’ll be really sad if this doesn’t have touch features. I don’t want to go back to Animal Crossing inventory management with a controller. I would like another game in the vein of Mario Maker. If this is

I have a great need. @___@ I wonder what’re the chances these’ll show up in the US Poke Center site. (Because import shipping is priceyyy)

Is it wrong that I was so ridiculously excited for Inkling hairstyles? >.>

Nooooo, I don’t want to go back to an Animal Crossing inventory that can’t be managed by touch! And my hopes for Happy Home Designer-style home decorating goes out the window, too.
