But unlike a government, which a human only gets one of (I guess two, if you’ve got dual citizenship), there are countless corporations. So just because Steam decides not to sell something doesn’t mean that now you’ll never get that product. Go buy it from another corporation who WILL sell it. Hell, start your own

No, I listed other examples of things that stores don’t sell (movies can be AO for violence too) that aren’t just porn. The principle’s the same: no one has a “right” to a space in any given storefront, and stores reject products for countless reasons. Just because one of those reasons could be “a message we don’t

Sure, and the internet has no shortage of ways to jerk off, including uncensored versions of these games with a simple Google search. So they’re just whiny AND lazy.

Not really. Anyone’s free to express themselves. That’s not the same as claiming some sort of “right” to be sold in specific storefronts. Walmart doesn’t sell AO movies. Ebay doesn’t sell human bones. The iOS app store doesn’t sell random arbitrary stuff.

Sure. Amazon’s free to sell or not sell what they want. (Hell, just take a look at app store. It’s only a fraction of what Google Play sells.) It’s like any other product on their site.

And yet, no one acts like a big baby when slasher movies get cut for network TV the way these people do over their porn.

If Lars von Trier or Harmony Korine were the ones doing the editing, then yes. Most of these are games that the developers change so that they can sell them on Steam. If they didn’t want to sell them on Steam, they don’t have to change them.

I wouldn’t call copyright claims (if they’re legit) censorship. :/

That’s my cousin’s place in Maryland. (Note the snow drift that’s reached the top of the garage) NYC isn’t the hardest-hit area; it’s more the DC area, which is about 250 miles south.

Oh yes, let me get my snow-making machine out of my closet, plug it in, and then cover my apartment’s parking lot in snow that will melt almost immediately in the “rarely below freezing” temperatures.

Practice how, when it snows maybe once a year?

Tasteful and subdued seems completely antithetical to Splatoon’s whole style, but I still kinda want these.

I take it you don’t work in a creative job, then, if you don’t understand what he means by ownership.

No one says they’re expecting “glory.” Some people just want to contribute to a bigger portion of the whole. It’s not really the same thing as building-making, because drywalling isn’t a creative job. If you’re an artist, at some point you feel creatively stifled and need to find better outlets for your ability.

Wish it had a LITTLE more depth, though. I’m on my 3rd Council of Rick boss, and have a mostly-evolved team at lvl 18, but now it’s just a grinding loop without any more story or even attack variety.

Wait, but if you didn’t rush through games and took your time with them, wouldn’t that mean you’d end up buying fewer games and saving money? Or not preordering/buying on release date, but waiting a month or two and getting them for cheaper?

Secret Hitler merely needed funding to get everything printed. Maybe some card art needed drawing. But they already had pdfs that you could print out so that you could play the whole thing. That’s way different from developing a video game from near-start to finish.

I hope they’re just sitting on piles of unsold Warios.

They’ve actually gotten way easier to find in the states, either from increased production or decline in interest or both. But Amazon’s had a regular stock (and great sales) on characters that were way hard to get before.

“Tell a good story or get out of my face”. And yet, future Pokemon games promise to be good? Don’t get me wrong, I’ve loved and played every main series Pokemon since gen 1, but they’ve never had what anyone would call a “good story.” XD
