I’m more interested in getting a localization of The Great Ace Attorney.

She was a little too late for the Smash Ballot.

Nintendo’s called it the Final presentation.

I dunno. Last E3 they released Mother 1, so maybe this E3 they’ll release Mother 3. :)

Oh totally. No one’s ever allowed to become a fan of something if they didn’t do so within the first year of its release. Hence no one’s allowed to be nostalgic for Star Wars unless they’re at least 45 years old. So sayeth the arbitrary fandom laws of Bakamoichigei.

Come on. Gotta call BS on ten years. Those clauses have to be reasonable in scope and duration, or the employee could sue. I work in tv animation, and the non-competes are usually in the range of a couple months.

I honestly probably wouldn’t pay $20 for a Picross game right now, not with all the other great games currently out. I only want to play a puzzle here and there anyway, so a timer’s not a big deal for me.

It was a combination of non-movable Aladdin figures, random Star Wars characters (before ever seeing the movies), and some Jurassic Park dinosaurs, all in some elaborate adventure. But it was more about the character represented than how they could move. (Not unlike how the kids in Toy Story play with all their toys,

When I was a kid, I played with all sorts of non-articulated toys: army men, Happy Meal toys, Aladdin figurines. Toys are toys.

Isn’t that what the Playstation TV was supposed to alleviate? Those things are only like $20 nowadays.

It’s not about the rights of real people vs fake people. It’s about the motivations of real people vs fake people, and which one people have the rights to criticize. A woman playing beach volleyball in a bikini? She’s not dressing in a bikini for you; it’s not your business to tell her to cover up. A commercial

It really isn’t an inconsistent standard. How do you not know the difference between real people with free will and made-up people? Real people choose their clothes to express themselves. Fake people are made up to fulfill an objective chosen by someone. So no, they’re not the same thing.

Why you don’t know the difference between a real human being and their choice to dress how they want, versus a digital character without its own sense of self beyond what an art director (most likely a guy) decides he wants to oggle at, is beyond me.

Why you’ve never heard how much social media DOES blast women for

It really isn’t, because A) Men have *significantly* more representation in media than women, so no one’s suffering from a lack of men as characters, and B) movies aren’t interactive. This is why people are asking for a PLAYABLE woman in Zelda, because yes the series has no lack of woman characters, but none of them

Okay. Saying that everyone has the right to be criticized for their opinions? Good for you; that’s what I’m doing. That’s how discussion works, you don’t need a new paragraph to introduce that concept.

So people now can’t express what they want in a game? How is “I want to play as a girl in a Zelda game” any different from “I want a Far Cry with dinosaurs,” or “I want Assassins Creed to take place in China,” or “I want another 2D Metroid”? How is asking to play as a female in a game SO FORBIDDEN to request, while

Because you never get to play as any of the other women in this series, up until this Hyrule Warriors spinoff. More details on other characters would be great, but being able to play as female-Link or as Zelda or anyone else would be preferable.

:D Splatoon’s got 3 nominations, though, in Best Shooter, Best Multiplayer, and Best Family Game.

It’s gotten 3 nominations. Best RPG, Best Indie, and Games for Change.
