I'm a 3rd generation female sports fanatic and I was kind of pissed about this story, but I agree. The thought that that guy would have that girl sitting on the couch beside him and would be watching the game instead of trying to get laid, is probably the most ridiculous thing about this whole story.

...but how many women (ahem, not females) do you actually know? here's the thing about stats, they're much more accurate and relevant the larger the sample size. Your mom, sister, and next-door neighbor isn't such a good sample size.

My wife loves football, and is just as emotionally invested as I am. Going to WVU Football games wouldn't be as enjoyable if she wasn't sitting beside me. I guess that's part of what makes us work so well. She is my best friend, after all.
