ah yes..cause a 175# person is as dangerous as a 4000# car. Of course...perfect both sides take on your part. Kudos. I was going to come and satirize a comment like yours but you beat me to it.

CO2 is orders of magnitude more pressing and dangerous than any other pollutant currently involved in any form of car manufacturing.

Except for, you know, attempting to not completely destroy the environment for future generations. But fuck em, we’ll be dead, amirite?

I assume literally. Kinja employs a team of stonemasons to etch all comments into cave walls in a secret location in Virginia.

You and four other people.

Are you talking about your Acclaim or Voyager? Either way you’re overshooting power numbers by about 30% and fuel economy numbers by about 50%.

Source: My brother owned a Voyager. I drove it back and forth to my college a few times, being a broke college student I hypermiled everything.

Never once getting near 30 MPG in

We knew in February that Skyactiv-X would make a little less horsepower than the 186 hp that the 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G we get in Mazda 3s here makes, but now we know precisely how much less. That would be 177 horsepower, according to Mazda’s figures, or 132 kilowatts.

Wrong. This thing is badass. The problem is the price. With that many miles on the drivetrain, $4000 is a lot to ask

Ass-suming it checks out mechanically by someone who knows Ferrari’s, why wouldn’t you buy this if you had the cash?

I’ll see you your Speedster and raise you my Spitfire.

They’ll sell tens of them over the life of the vehicle.

Please don’t drive around your newborn baby in a 60 year old Corvair, unless you really have no other option. I feel like that should go without saying, but here we are.

passing on the right and cutting off faster moving vehicles is pretty much the majority of what I see on any given day so it sounds like the system is closer to the average human than the average robot.

Yup...and at $17k, if you’ve got $20k budgeted for a car, you could buy this and swap in a later-model Boxster motor for shits and giggles.

My eyes won’t miss the 53' long, 14' tall box in front of me.

I mean, I’m pretty sure that’s how a limo service can work, if you request it.

You think it’s the end of Tesla because VAG merely announced they’re gonna build a couple of plants?

This is really not useful feedback.

I can’t wait for the following item:

As per usual, you guys are trying too hard to score Kooky Points. $15k is a lot for this scenario, so there are tons of good options, including Subies. Personally I’d go with a 4Runner or Pathfinder (one of the good ones).
