“Back in the 70s”

I’m gonna have to change my username soon won’t I?...

You’ve come to the wrong place to make such a claim. I'm completely in agreement with you, btw, but this is Jalopnik. EVs have no soul, and they won't break down like ICEs. And if your car is reliable then WHAT'S THE POINT?

Absolutely ridiculous. This car looks like other cars. They are trying too hard and need to try again, even harder this time. Lately this car company has been getting better but now they’ve gone and messed it all up. Listen to me, my opinion is correct because I own an older car which was the best of its kind. Now my

I’m not much of a finance guy but even I know that “net worth” doesn’t mean “amount of cash we have laying around”. So enough with the clickbait title - €10m is a significant sum. It is the government’s job to have resources to fight crises like this.

I’m glad this exists, that someone had the desire and audacity to build such a machine. Hope there was an equal amount of fun had during the process... and that this wasn’t looked at as an investment opportunity. Although you never know - the right person can come across this car and think “now that’s what I’ve been

This is dumb. Owner finds a new car they want and ends up trading in their Audi, and now it’s at Mark’s. You know nothing about the history but are just dismissing the car.

This might blow your mind but... shrouds are removable. In case you’re purposely looking for a way to get your engine bay dirtier, faster.

“Considering how little it would cost to buy a clean Econoline and retrofit it with a few amenities”

I’m not against this. I think the colour is a good contrast against the Williams’ white, since you can often find the two next to one another.

I’ll admit to never seeing a Prius peel out from a C&C event, but maybe we go to very different meetups.

Most people aren’t “flooring it” when exiting a parking lot. You’ll get on the gas, sure, but I presume the data they analyzed has found a difference between typical acceleration and someone hitting - and applying more force - to the gas when confused and panicked.

Camper conversions aren’t cheap to do. If this is what you’re looking for it’s probably not a bad deal - perhaps you can haggle as well. If this is not what you are looking for then it’s obviously a terrible idea but somehow everyone who isn’t in the market for this thing believes it’s up to them to say how bad this

But if you get one of these, imagine all the money you can save on towing your M5 to the shop.

What’s your recommendation? A $50,000 Ford Explorer? A $50,000 Honda Pilot?

Lamborghini really dropped the ball by not making a run of these. If they ever smarten up I’m definitely jumping into my Bentley which my chauffeur will drive to my helicopter which my pilot will use to fly me to my private jet which will then get me to Lambo’s REAL headquarters in Salami and I’ll personally deliver

I will watch the videos later tonight when I have time. Thanks for the good response.

>Charging an EV can be dirty

If drivers actually got fined for things like this then they would stop breaking the law. At this point there are so many people who don’t signal I see cops completely ignore this behaviour in the city.

The number of drivers I see on a weekly basis who feel that the rules of the road don’t apply to them because they are in a car is just terrifying. Weaving through traffic, running red lights, running stop signs, not signalling for turns or lane changes, driving at night without lights, blocking crosswalks, texting
