I didn’t know I needed to read the word “jabroni” today, but I did. And it happened twice.

Well how about roll cages? Often mandated for safety reasons. Not stock. But without it, no record. So that’s ok?
I’m drawing the line at new tires that fit the exact same rims.
What I’m saying is that a tire change shouldn’t bring out the pitchforks in the “stock vs modified” argument. For instance Bugatti continuously sets records on tires that aren’t only not stock, but are one-off examples.
Why so salty UncleWalty?
I like my aisle seats and once was called up to the front desk to find out a flight attendant moved me up to a window seat in one of the first rows to accommodate another passenger’s request. I told her my preference so she juggled a few things around and ended up swapping my “coveted” seat for another aisle seat a…
I don’t understand the fuss often created over tires. That is one of the most trivial things to replace on a car. The Toyobaru twins had economy-focused tires from the factory and swapping a performance pair yielded significant gains on a track.
We’re talking “current vs classic Mini Cooper” massive.
Still, people crash. I’m only disputing the massive conclusion you jumped to by saying the guy “should have spent money on driving lessons” - there’s a good chance he did.
Closed course, but very much a public road https://jalopnik.com/holy-crap-watch-this-nissan-gt-r-careen-off-the-road-at-1715468318
Professional racing drivers crash, too.
It does act as a rear fender but also fulfills the legal requirement of having the license plate behind the rear wheel.
I report it all the time to the driver’s face. Listen, if you’re gonna be on public roads and refuse to signal, or decide that half your car should be in the bike lane, or drive at night without headlights, or blow through pedestrian crossings, then you deserve to know you’re being a jackass.
Are we looking at the same photos? What is crappy about this?
Not only that but these proportions just seem... more right than the original. It’s sleek and cool as shit. People are too hung up on what someone decided to call this custom creation that they’re literally blind to what it is.
Something tells me that engineers tasked with working on AVs always knew there was more to it than just the car itself... there’s so many external variables at play and that’s why I don’t yet see any driverless cars roaming the streets outside my window.
Pretty sure it’s still very difficult to make autonomous cars. We’re not at the point yet where throwing more money at the problem will make it easier to solve.
Yea but will it have a 3rd pedal? They really dropped the ball by making another appliance instead of something fun. I will definitely NOT be buying this until VW pulls their heads out of their asses and gives the people what they WANT!
Got any more info on these future passenger jet technologies you mention?
