You demonstrate someone’s poor character by referencing facts about their behaviors, action, politics, etc.

How does it work in your workplace?

Testimony about behavior, activity, comments, capacity, ability, potential, politics, failures, shortcomings, weaknesses, etc. are all fair game. Calling someone a disgrace, even when you are quoting someone else, is a not acceptable.

Have you read the letter? It contained language that directly disparaged Sessions. That was a no go.
