I’m glad at least some stats show that people are/have played Wolfenstein 2. I liked that series and played through it, and while it wasn’t Doom levels of balls-to-the-wall, I really enjoyed the experience. Solid underrated shooters, I feel, with enough old school and modern mixes of gameplay to keep me trying.

I’m fine with receiving whiskey stones as a gift as I stopped drinking anything but whiskey - when I’m not directly using them, I like to think of of them as tiny transitory ice packs or grown up legos that don’t fit anything.

My wife puts her side of the CC on 80+ and I like mine more at the 70 level. She also has the seat warmers cranked up to full for most of the fall, winter and spring.

Eventually, I believe the Stinger would have caught up. The Model S does not have a particularly impressive top speed (in the petrol world, anyway.)

Which is fine by me too. I just wanted to point out that it’s not China capitulating, it’s Trump backing down the bite from his bark.

If I’m reading this correctly, it’s China’s initial reaction to Trump’s action of suspending US tariff hikes on the first place but I have no doubt his administration will try to take credit for it regardless of who started it.

I mean, anything’s possible....

All things being equal, yeah. 440 lbs is non trivial but doesn’t compensate for significantly more torque, AWD, or nice gear ratios in the 12/13 seconds or so that matters for this video. The 0-60 times in the video itself are a half second apart in favor of the Taser Model S.

I don’t think based on the 3 additional peak HP alone anyone thought the Stinger was going to win. 440 lbs isn’t going to offset the comparatively flat torque curve, AWD hookup, or 1 speed gearing.

Was the courier found out near the Mojave desert with a bullet wound in his head?

You can’t compare WRX sales to the Ascent or Crosstrek - they’re entirely different cars.

I was curious so I picked a random year. In 2017, US WRX sales were 31,358. Crosstrek sales for the same year US were 95,677. Total sales were 647,956 for the year.

Hey, thanks for reminding me. My hatch trunk struts on my Honda are aged and dead. I got bopped on the head getting groceries out of the trunk a week ago and (surprise!) I seem to have forgotten about it.

I’ve submitted so many vanity plate possibilities to my MVD that they’re on to me. The best I could get through at the moment was FITALL which was supposed to be F IT ALL, but it looks like FIT ALL which... is not what I was really wanting.

I saw this thing at an auto show and I honestly was a smitten a bit. Buicks are getting classy in their design. It won’t fit in my tiny ass garage, like ever, but it’s worth a serious look if they’re still making them by the time I’m ready.

I’m surprised Tom McP isn’t in here linking like 6 of his articles.

Dear Kumicho,

This is full Hoovie. You never go full Hoovie.

Neat, I’ll have to push that forward on the watch queue. Quite behind Amazon stuff atm.

I’m just a little curious as the amount of footage and the number of takes it takes to properly shoot and edit a gymkhana run. I bet the reality is less interesting than the fantasy but I like knowing about things end to end.
