Well, despite that, I’m still 100% on board bringing it to my work office desk and rowing the shit out of it during meetings.

Learning a bit more about high power outputs, I have found that aside from mechanical failures the #1 concern seems to be heat management. Which makes sense to me, those explosions aren’t going to dissipate themselves.

I’m pretty good with 25-30 mpg, honestly. I’m not a huge fan of dipping into the teens, though. I’d like 20 mixed to be my cutoff, although large HP numbers do make me change my mind...

Snarky pieces of the affluent are my avocado toast. Great job Kristen, I’m digging all of this.

Oh, I love that. Does that plug into the computer or is it just a standalone toy shifter? It would be great if I could control PowerPoint slides with it.

Yeah, which is why I was asking about demographic and talking about locations, and I wrote a response to his rather zany definition of demographic, but kinja seems to have eaten it. I was just curious if he meant in the 6 or 7 figure range, because it’s not even clear to me if he meant he was in the 90th percentile of

Yeah that’s true, I did omit that part. But I think the main takeaway is that Chevy knew, and did something about it. 2016+ C7 Z06s also got modifications, but I’m less in the know about those.

While that’s all very nice to know, you know I meant economic demographic in this context which your response doesn't tell much about. I just wanted to know if we were talking six or seven figures a year, which I'm sure you left vague on purpose

10th percentile of which demographic? Per state, that percentile differs from the average nation percentile. Which of course differs if you factor in other countries.

Yeah, I mean, if you see people talking to Tadge, the C7 engineers know that cooling is the Achilles Heel of the z06.

People have written about this before. Technology marches on, making it more comfortable for laymen to go around tracks quicker (at least in their heads.)

Are they doing anything still that’s interesting with PhysX offloading or is that just all offloaded to CPUs now? I don’t see anything about it on the announcement page, but I kind of didn’t want all my CPU cores chugging around because a bunch of loose boxes decided to play footsie with the nearest ragdoll body.

Honestly, I tried the Range Rover aspect and every other result seemed ridiculous.

Also very happy for her and supportive of her decision. I’m going to miss it, though.

I seem to recall that lady was not for turning. Sounds pretty mediocre to me.

Yeah, you missed this yesterday.

Does anyone else feel slightly strange now that $kay isn’t doing the COTD congrats? Just feels slightly off, now.

10 amazing years. I can’t believe I was here for the whole thing. Thank you for all you did.

They are probably automatics, which have less hp, mandatory electric power steering, and a 4 speed tranny. They command a far less of a premium than the more desirable manuals.

I think you are out of the loop. The only NSXes that are going for 30k are really poor condition or high mileage or over-modded Gen 1s. I used to own one and I’ve been watching the prices climb significantly. The Gen 2s, I’ve seen one at 135K and it was out the door almost instantly.
