So, not a troll question, but if you were in the market for 100-200k hybrid fastercars, why get this over a NSX?
Yep, I figured there wasn’t a magic wand or anything, most of that is logically extrapolatable. But then again, I don’t shop cars for a living, so I don’t know if there is anything I missed.
Hey Tom,
Ariel Atom 500. Hear me out.
People don’t even understand the rules to the board game Monopoly and it’s been around for 80 years. Asking them to understand this when they still struggle with a one lane roundabout I think will go poorly.
Based on what he wrote my guess is that unless the technology advancements are accessible to the working class, non-trivial amounts of wealth inequality also develops as the tech does. Which is true. Your point and his (if so) are not mutually exclusive.
I suspect that you might get better/more ranting opportunities at the guy who thinks living in a city sucks.
Why is it that you guys only suddenly hone in on the agricultural workers after I mentioned “everbody got wealthier”.
So with all the camo on it I may be off a little, but I keep seeing a Toyota 86 crossed with a 360 Modena on the front end. I don’t think I mind, though. Rear haunches look pretty rote for a supercar mid engine type design. Hope we get to see it in the full paint soon.
Again, my point was that not everyone got wealthier, which is what you stated. You don’t have to stick just on agriculture to retain that concept, either. You word things a little vaguely, and people pointed out it wasn’t accurate.
It’s probably because in the technical and literary sense not everybody got wealthier. Contextually, it was a bit vague. I get what you are trying to say, though, that overall automation helped a lot of people in the emergent economy once the transition was developed. No argument there.
The people who were able to remain in business when competing against the economies of scale became wealthier. A lot of small farms have a large financial incentive to sell and move on as they simply don’t have as many robots to compete with the big kids, and usually buyout offers for land are typically more lucrative…
While I had the same thought re: should have gone public later, I figured the hand was forced due to the critical need for additional money.
Honestly I’ll work with either EN-EE-ESS or Ness in a convo, but I always internally balk a little when people say “Mare-io.” I mean, the guy’s got Italian heritage and he says his own name often enough in various media. Why does that happen?
This was a long time ago - and no idea if this applies to your state, but in theory if they were abandoned for 3 weeks or something you could go file some paperwork, pay a $300 salvage fee, and it would be yours. But I never tried it, $300 was an exorbitant amount of money that I never had.
Yaah? Yaah.
I presume most people considering this car probably have enough money to render an extra million moot. I imagine fleets of cars, obsessive collectors, net worth well in to the 9-10 digit range. I heard about kids in college whose parents were wealthy enough that they’d buy Mercs for the school year and then ditch them…
It’s a Japanese banana. Honestly, I prefer the white, but I’m sure someone enjoys this.
