The Aisin AA80E transmission was one of the first if not the first consumer grade 8 speed transmission on the market. It can handle high torque, has 2 sets of planetary gears, and was revolutionary when it was developed in 04 and debuted in 08 on the IS-F.

Admittedly, the seats could be lower and still work, but I like to work with as much visual area as possible. the 2nd gen IS is a bit snug interior space wise, but I quite like it.

I feel ya. I’m 5'6" with spiky hair, and if I raise the seat to the level where I can see everything over the dash, the tips of my hair touch the ceiling. Can’t even imagine what it’s like for someone with a taller torso.

Weird. I’ve owned an IS-F now for about a year and a half. There is a strange tang of ennui sometimes when I drive the car. I think I understand, even if I don’t agree, with that feeling of restlessness.

I’ve seen that gif before (this version, the kid on the right continuously falling) and I imagine that he is actually on some off-camera wheel and he and his octuplet siblings are using the power of the burn to rotate the wheel as they ride it towards burn heaven.

Don’t forget, the car automatically moves you from place to place so you don’t have to move yourself manually. Highlight the benefit for the end consumer. Didn’t you ever take Marketing 101?
