My car has one of the first 8 speed traditional automatics available on the consumer level market, and it’s fine, but it doesn’t shift multiple gears quickly (one shift up or down is very quick and satisfying, just not 2 or more at once) and the drive by wire gives a sensation of delay to counteract the urgency.
