I just find someone being Shrunk in their own House more reminiscent of Honey I shrunk the Kids. Didn't say it was 100%, but it's a better analogy in my opinion.

The other Demo runs better for sure, and is a better taste of the game itself. Although the Iron Giant fights combat is MUCH better if you ask me, changing weapons mid combo is more satisfying to me. But Child Noctis was pretty dang boring, and did nothing to teach you how to use the weapon skills of Adult Noctis.

I think by essence he's talking about the visual style, the feel of it, the sound of it and that stuff. The Demo itself is nothing close to what the actual game will be, since the Demo plays more like a platformer collecting coins instead of an RPG.

The combat was certainly simple(I don't think it's shallow since I found a few different approaches to the Iron Giant), but simple isn’t inherently a bad thing. Look at games like Othello, probably one of the simplest games around, yet there's a surprising amount of strategy that can be played on that board with each

The room is a part of Nocts house, and is no way associated with Alice In Wonderland. His Honey I Shrunk the Kids reference is more spot on.

Seems like an even bigger waste of time to write this out. His story was at least entertaining, your comment just comes off a crass, rude and pointless.

Once they're done with XV and can move onto another project, Im sure Tabata will get to show his own visions with us.

I find it funny so many people are named Alex in th

Why does it matter? Answer, it doesn't.

Well it’s going to be LIKE it, but not the Child Noctis parts just Adult Noctis. I happened to like the combat in the Adult parts of the demo, took some getting used to but I could beat it without using a cheese tactic like repeated Warp Strikes, and not have Carbuncle heal me.

Depending on how my weekend shapes up I could wind up playing Warframe, Stardew Valley or the Division. Really just waiting for more games to come out at this point.

The demo is pretty short, but it's worth it to explore everywhere and take in the designs. It's more of a Tech Demo than anything.

I prefer Fighters, Action RPG's and Shooters on a console format. It's simply personal preference. PC I use for more indie titles, strategy and of course Massive Multiplayers.

Which in honestly they should still be “superior” in terms of performance and graphics because of those rigs. However, the development for PC is more costly than console, due to the variation in specifications and parts. Optimizing for all the different variables takes time and money that companies simply don’t want

Sadly it won’t. I play on console and PC, because there are definitely some Genre’s that work out better on the different machines to me. The problem is that there isn’t any respect in a PC port, it’s used as a quick cash grab for people who spent thousands on a high end machine and don’t want to dish out 400 on what

Division Reference?

I’ve been with Final Fantasy since 4(Released as 2 in America), went back to play 1 and as they’ve been released through the decades I’ve have played every single one of them(Except the offshoot PsP games since I just never got into owning a handheld.)

I think as a game designer they have a dual problem. One problem is making a game their fans want to play by taking in feedback and adjusting things that appeal to a broad audience, the counter problem is they need to stick to their own vision as well and simply say “This is the game we made and we’re standing behind

Fair point. I think Tabata's done a good job of throwing in his own flare though and lightening up at least the opening of the game.

I totally get the crafting bit for XIII, but then again that game as a whole was a bit of a jumbled mess all around. It was turn based, but really boring turn based that you could do Auto Attack and win 90% of all fights.
