Such exaggerated examples there. Honestly FF has not Gameplay Roots, regardless of what people stuck in the past want to think. They’ve tweaked it every single game.

I might be one of the only people who is not excited for the Remake of VII. Honestly VII is almost as bad as XIII with how much they shove it down our throats. I’ve been to that world multiple times and need something new and fresh.

I’m a long time fan and very excited for FFXV. There’s actually a Lot of people who are excited for it. Also 10 Million copies isn’t based on the Release date purchase or even within a year, it’s the Life Span of the Game.

Oh the fan division is real. There are multiple splits within the fandom about the Medival “Pure” Fantasy and the Modernized Fantasy, and which one is the Proper Final Fantasy. And there’s still the more ARPG aspects vs the old Turn Based. It’s almost comically sad how divisive the fan base is on what makes a proper…

I didn’t pick up Destiny until after the Taken king, to be specific I bought the bundle about a Month- Month and a half ago as something to play with my brother while he’s away at college.

This really speaks for a lack of Trust though. You and/or your spouse doesn’t Trust the other with a member of the opposite sex. My wife trusts me when I go and hang out with my female friends, because she knows I’m committed to her and her alone.

I don’t see the Fallout similarities in this at all. The entire landscape varies and is Vibrant and full of Life in a world that isn’t “Post-Apocalyptic”. I think it’s insulting to BOTH franchise to not even know what you’re talking about here.

Was it? I got it cause I got Type-0 on sale for $10 and the code still worked with the 2.0 Update for it. I played it again after I played the new demo and it was pretty jarring since I didn't remember how anything worked lol.

Pretty much. It's not a great demonstration for the battle system. Would have been better if they just updated Duscae with the new stuff, probably would have taken them less time and money as well. I appreciate their effort, but from the number of posts by people getting turned off by the game from the Demo shows it…

I think you have to unlock platinum plates, which is done after beating him...I think? I just know it's worth unlocking Gold and Silver for the extra Fire's, MP Restore, and I think the shield is locked on Silver too...ran through to the end once and realized the Shield plate was still locked lol.

To be fair the Pre-Iron Giant mobs were just there to show off a few models and the weak combat of Child Noctus. Although, they should have just re-released Duscae with the UI/Combat updates and a proper explanation of how to use all the abilities included.

I think for a lot of the fanbase this game is really their last shot to prove they can still pull off a good game. But the demo really didn’t give a good explanation of combat, there’s more techniques than what is show cased throughout the demo and not even hinted at or explained throughout the course of it.

I actually disagree, I thought Duscae was far to simple and was completely a hold Attack to Win style of gameplay. The problem with the demo is it doesn’t explain Anything.

Why not just update Duscae and make it available to everyone? I think that would have been a better showing all around getting to experience the combat within the actual games world.
