I felt the same way about Logan Lucky. It’s fine, but there was a definitely feeling of forced whimsy layered on top of a redneck Ocean’s 11 plot. Craig killed, though. I love that everyone gets pissed at him for stopping to buy snacks and drinks inside the track gates and it turns out that’s what he’s making his bomb

I’m very happy to see Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers ranked so highly. Tom Petty rightfully gets a ton of attention for writing a ridiculous number of great songs, but I feel the Heartbreakers don’t get their due from people who aren’t among their more dedicated fanbase. They are easily one of the top 5 American rock

I don’t recall all the details but I don’t think everyone was going HAM on her right at the beginning.

No this is absolute bullshit

Bill was a 2003 era Libertarian. An ancestor to the modern QAnon types, but far less into Right-wing bootlicking. He hated the Bush regime and probably thought the 9/11 was an inside job.

That movie had amazing cinematography.

My favorite part of A Christmas Story is her quiet rebellion against the leg lamp.

“Fine, we’ll give the cereal cups a new name. How about ... Lady A! Perfect!”

I loved when Bill giggles in pure joy at the taste of the strawberry.

I haven’t seen a ton of Kidman material, but what I have experienced, I thought was watch-worthy.  So I don’t really have feelings of snark regarding seeing her on screen.

Willie Nelson is currently being sworn in.

lol exactly, just forgot to mention she was literally missing and was also in an substance use crisis for a few years. Glad she’s feeling well enough to return.

Time was, you’d get a lot of blind items about her on these blogs.

I know that I’m slightly biased because we share a mutual friend but I feel a little defensive of Nicky Brendan eating shit for tacitly supporting Whedon when Tudyk and Fillion have faced, as far as I’ve seen, nowhere near the same level of grief and have been just as, if not more, supportive. Cynically I think it’s

Tony Head, who was part of that ingroup, was mortified to read the stories because Whedon was not like that around him or anywhere in his sight, but also noted the power dynamics from being an experienced, older actor with profile versus all the young actors without, were really different. He supported the other castme

I think it was also hard for her, in a weird way, because even though Whedon didn’t treat her great, she kind of trusted him as a creator and director (which is at least partly indicative of how manipulative he could be) - when Noxon asked her to do dark things, the same level of trust wasn’t there - I think

No-one seems to talk about how ahead of its time Season 6 was with its villains.

The game has that same feeling, it really, really takes it out of you over the span of the game, it’s an incredible piece of storytelling.

I’ve actually been really happy with how ST has handled Will’s sexuality
