How is Kids not on this list? It absolutely induced more hysteria at the time than most of these movies.

Interesting. I found his outsider’s perspective refreshing, especially considering most other late night show hosts are American.

Well they don't call it "gym-nice-stics."

The article’s implication that Armor Wars being changed from a tv show to a theatrical release is a sign of trouble with the project is . . . strange.

I know a lot of lawyers (my extended family and their friends) and quite a few that are single (and even the married ones for that matter) in their late 30s (and 40s) and socially, uh, awkward. Professional accomplishments have little bearing on a what a person’s social life is.  I also don’t see where they

Rehearsing for when this happens to you irl huh?

I wouldn’t Grantham parole either.

I miss Donna Bowman.

Down by Law? Mystery Train? Sheesh!

sooo...no mention that the conversation between Arondir and Adar about “the river” was directly lifted (inspired?) from the movie “Apocalypse Now” between Col. Kurtz and Willard?

Oh right, the problem isn’t the misogynistic trolls, the problem is that she COMPLAINED about misogynistic trolls. What women used to know but modern women have forgotten is that they’re supposed to keep their mouths shut when boys are being boys. Why, misogyny and abuse will simply vanish once women stop talking

The Boys coverage tends to focus on Antony Starr and Karen Fukuhara’s incredible performances, but Erin Moriarty has done phenomenal work as Starlight. In the first season her character has to be brutalized, exploited, and silenced but Erin still plays her with agency and driving her own story. That’s a tough line to

dang, that’s pretty brutal to hear, poor girl. she’s the heart of that show.

Lars may have lost one, I don’t recall when he entered Metallica but that has a death, and Travis Barker was the only survivor in a straight up plane crash with a side project. I think this show went further than anyone realizes. I’m kinda devastated
