I don’t care... I see a Super Tenere parked or riding every day on the way to work, and there is MUCH WANT.

Wire spoke wheel is a suspension mechanism (literally), whereas a cast wheel is mostly a support structure. They both have their place. Cast wheels are far superior for track surfaces and lateral acceleration (4 wheels good). Spoked wheels are far superior on rough surfaces, radical forces such as jumps, landings,

Roach, because that’s the inevitable result of Joint Lighting Tactics.

JayVee = Junior Varsity, a.k.a “B-Team”, “Second String”, “Bench Warmers”... in the U.S., this is a bit of an insult.

DUDE!!! A Volvo Vagen (850 GLT 5sp) is my daily!!! DO NOT SHOW ME THIS!!!

You know what? Restrict this shit to war zones and the estates of the rich. Or, at least, far... far... far away from sentient beings who are just trying to live life.

How many ray fennesseys have you blown in your race and highway Subarus? /JK!

V-8 SUPACHARGE POWAR, active-flapping wings, hi-vis cockpit... what more do you need in a fighter?

How many head gaskets have you blown on your race and highway Subarus?

OOOooops, I read Cayenne… sorry, my bad.

I don’t see how those vehicles qualify as “opposites” — they are both ugly as fuck and much too large.

No, insufferable means “unbearably arrogant or conceited” which is spot-on in this case.

How about the rims bottoming out on the pavement? That seems like a real possibility.

Nobody here is attacking “other people’s tastes”. And even if they were? Stick shifts and stones. The Jalop forum quorum is ridiculing clearly ridiculous behavior, dangerous automobile modifications and the insufferable attitude of the hellaflush stance community. Which you seem to represent to a Model T.

Meooowwwrrrr! That’s a 15,000 RPM buzz saw to the face!

Grumper: looks like a grille, but it’s really a bumper.

You rubbed off the entire time you attended art school? It shows.

Slalom speed? 60-0 braking? Lateral acceleration?

Volvo has always done excellent ergonomics & seating comfort. My 1995 850 wagon was out of commission for a couple of months, so I had to commute in my 1998 Impreza OBS. I developed severe sciatica from the lack of ergonomics in the Subaru. Thank goodness the Volvo is back on the road.
