Whenever DoD auditors dare to audit these folks and subsequently fail said audit, their response is “so what?”.  They then direct them to the many Congressmen who are in their pockets.

In my 40+ years in the workforce I’ve witnessed countless times when the very rumor of layoffs results in the best heading out the door first because they are highly marketable. The competent and “loyal” employees then go through an emotional roller coaster where they try to kiss up to management while destroying

An indelible Sharpie should take care of the seats.

If I can be assured that parts are readily available and there are people around with the know how’s to keep it running, I would vote NP.

Gas mileage shouldn’t be too bad.  The N/A 3800 in these big cars would get 30mpg on the highway.

Seventies Fiat build quality? ND. A friend’s brother bought a new standard 131 back in the day.  A week later we had to rescue him on the side of the road because the engine lost every bit of its compression.

Royal Farms wants over four bucks for one of their “world famous” chicken thighs. It can rot under that heat lamp for all I care.

Yep.  My driver had day drinking down to an art.

Frank B. Rhodes, Jr. should have started his efforts 50 years ago at the least. Even during the 1950's when Chrysler introduced technologies like the Torqueflite automatic transmission and the Hemi V8 engine (I know they weren’t the first with the hemi, so don’t get on my ass about it), their sales were miniscule

I was helping a guy working on the front suspension of a Chevelle when the coil spring decided to release its potential energy.  It moved so fast I only saw the garage window explode.  It landed in his swimming pool.  Everyone was ok, but that was the last time for me with coil springs.

If only Andy majored in finance instead of art history...

It would be more meaningful if they sailed into St. Petersburg. I understand the Germans feel they still have a score to settle with the Russians.

Not in the budget nor in the contracts.

The one he shot up probably hasn’t ran in years.
