Appreciate the info. Thanks to the interwebs, I am now a Dunning-Kruger expert on everything Mancini!

A garage.

If they came with the original wheels, fixed the A/C, put the original carb and intake manifold back (or at least used Holleys, no idea what a Mancini is), and did a clean up of the seats...

Why in the Hell would they call it “Long March”? Losing 90% of your army when you are doing it is hardly a successful milestone.

Among other missteps, they didn’t understand the concept of franchising. In the real world, a franchisee puts up the money to build a store, thus assuming a good part of the financial risk. Krispy Kreme actually lent the money to franchisees, which transferred the risk back to themselves, as well as paying interest on

So, Carvana blames inflation, high used-vehicle prices, and rising interest rates for their woes. It seems everyone else, from dealerships to manufacturers are handling these issues far better.

I will play the odds and assume it has been beaten like a rented mule.  Camaros of this vintage and mileage are rarely babied and treated well.

Fandom ends when investors feel their money is being fucked with.  Considering the stock price, the smart money has already headed for the exit.

Musk and Zuckerberg peaked last year. It’s easy being an entrepreneur of the next big thing when the public is busting down your door to give you money.  However, the business graveyard is full of these guys and gals who couldn’t pivot when competition arises, demand levels off, or stupid decisions are made.

I have two vehicles that will not have OnStar by the end of the year because 2G/3G will be gone.  Unlike the last time, GM has no upgrade path.

After owning one out of necessity, smiles were not part of the equation.

Maybe.  It’s a smaller engine that needs to work harder to move that 2 1/2 ton lump.

It looks like it has the 400, the last of the Cleveland blocks.  The gas mileage wouldn’t be much better, though.

I drove a couple of these back in the day. Any steering, braking, and acceleration inputs required a 1-2 second delay before the car reacted. The steering was so overpowered it felt like the wheel wasn’t attached to anything.  Imagine trying to make an evasive maneuver with this car. Even then I thought they were

Neutral: “What a trip.”

To the Lotus Esprit owner: I have dated many women who were like it. They were a lot of fun but depleted my savings account. Maybe that’s why I have been married to the same woman for over 35 years, drive a 15 year old Sierra 1500, and have plenty of money in the bank.

Daily driven in NYC?  I know you may have babied the car, but I have done the LIE enough times to know you all are psychos and would never buy a car from that area!  :-)

In that case: Something, something, something... Sunk cost.

3rd Gear:  Something, something, something...   Barriers of Exit.

With cars like this, my fear is someone beat the hell out of it along the way. Same goes with Camaros, Challengers, and Chargers.
